Venice Pizza — Restaurant in Loyalsock Township

I don't live particularly close to Williamsport. As such I'm not often able to visit this wonderful restaurant. On this particular occasion I had reason to be in Williamsport and got to visit Venice Pizza!

As my 5 star rating indicates; it was a great experience.

I was with my mother at the time. We ordered a large Sausage and Onion Pizza with Extra Cheese. The pizza was perfect as past experiences have shown.

They make a "New York" style pizza. Hand tossed dough; that is thin and foldable. The pizza had plenty of sausage and onions. The extra cheese was also appropriate for the price.

The pizza had just the right amount of sauce and was cooked perfectly; with a nice crust. The crust was slightly crunchy but soft inside. A perfect pizza in our opinion.

Though the order was for take out; my mother ate a few slices in the restaurant. She uses utensils and a plate. The utensils where metal and clean. The plate was paper.

The booths are relatively comfortable. Overall it has a family &/or old school type feel to the location. Depending on ones views of such things; of course.

The pizza consumed in the restaurant was excellent. As was the rest of the pizza that was taken out.

All in all a great experience. Highly recommended. One of the best "New York" style pizzas available outside of the Big Apple! Without a doubt it's one of the best we're aware of in a 2-4 hour radius anyway.

This pizzeria used to be my favorite! But things have really changed! When I used to order extra cheese pizza man you could tell it was extra cheese! Not anymore. I ordered an extra cheese, pepperoni pizza, which had no extra cheese and this wasn't the first time that's happened. Last time I called and they said they'd make up for it the next time I ordered, which they did. I'm paying for the meal and they're not giving me the extra items that I'm paying for, unless I complain. I also ordered hot wings extra crispy, And clearly stated repeatedly to run them them through twice. When I got home, I was so disappointed! They were barely cooked and they were extremely salty! Italian Cosmo (cosmo=toasted and this is everything w/o lettuce add banana peppers) THIS IS SOMETHING I CRAVE BY NAME since I moved out of Williamsport. When I get to travel through for business, I make it a point to stop and get one. Get the large 14 inch vs the small 9 inch, because it really is that good. I compare every hoagie, grinder, hero, and sub I eat to this one. Other places are good, but this Italian Cosmo is on its own level.
