McDonald's — Restaurant in Lubbock

I dont know if it's because the afternoon shift is mostly run by teenagers in highschool/college, and theu dont give a damn, buthis particular location needs to step up thier game and get thier customer service skills straight. When being greeted, I'd appreciate it if they spoke clearly and enunciate. Also, be patient when waiting for people coming through the drive thru. Have you product adequately stocked and made ready to go. Make sure profuct is fresh, no old fries, no old nuggets and please, for the love of god, count the nuggets. Customers will be irate if they pay for a 20 piece and get 15 nuggets. When greeting the customer, say hello with a smile and dont snatch the money/card. Wipe down cups and make sure there isnt soda or liquid on the outside of the cup. Place napkins in the bag. And dont forget to thank the customer for coming.

My one star stands till I...

My family goes here once in a while as a treat, and we specifically go to this one because it's usually the nicest one. Today my wife went in and got a 10 piece chicken nugget meal and a big mac. After my wife got home, I realized that we hadn't received the nuggets or the straws she asked for more than once, so my wife brought the food back and asked for the nuggets and a remake, since the food was cold. Now, I'm a reasonable person. They said no to the remake because that part of the order was right, which I can understand. What I can't see past is the fact that they accused my wife of stealing the nuggets and coming back to try to get more. It was absolutely disrespectful and embarrassing, and the staff members responsible for accusing my wife of stealing need to be reprimanded. What a terrible way to treat people....

It was great! We'd been planning to stop at the Wendy's in Sweetwater for our lunch on a road trip. Our lunch was at 3, which must have been lunchtime for everyone else on road today. We waited in line to order for 15 minutes and during that time not one single order was served to the people who'd made it through the ordering process. BUT WHEN WE LEFT AND HEADED TO the McDonald's a half a block away it was all different. Several cars in the drive through and the cars were moving through at a moderate pace. We walked in and were first in line to order. We were handed our drink cups and headed to the drink fountain and had just gotten to a table when the employee came to us with our order. All our food was exactly as ordered, fresh and hot and delicious....
