I just got a drink from the drive-through in this Starbucks and only home I realized that my order is messed up... Again... I ordered an extra-hot venti no-foam vanilla latte (with the intention to drink it once I get home), but got a grande latte in a venti cup with an inch of foam. Because of the foam by weight the cup feels more like a grande size cup; plus the foam is something I don't like... So it seems that I paid for venti drink, but got a grande one...
We all heard Starbucks promise ('come back and we will make y'all happy'), but it just doesn't work with me. The round trip back costs me more in gas than the difference between grande and venti drinks, so I'm not eligible for the 'barista promise'. Remind you, it's a drive-through so there is no guarantee that an upset barista won't add their DNA to my drink (or is there a guarantee?).
Here is my suggestion to store managers: please train your employees how to make a drink without foam. Or just don't offer such an option at all! As I was typing this I thought that it may be that the store management orders baristas to serve grande drinks with foam and sell as venti drinks so the store can save on milk...
This is not the first time I get this kind of drinks from Starbucks, so I am finally upset to the point of writing this review. What upsets me the most is that no one cares about this and, probably, everyone blames me for not turning around. I think that Starbucks "promise" is a B$ because I won't go back because of the foam and/or not full drink. Again, no one cares about this, so I wish there would be a 'no star' rating...
In an unlikely event that miraculously someone from Starbucks with power to change things will note my review - please add an option to the Starbucks mobile app to send feedback/rate for each transaction. You may not hear back about well prepared drinks, but you will surely learn a lot about wrong/incomplete orders. Also, I wish your 'barista promise' would cover us, drive-through customers.
I am still upset; and this is not the first time I've been fooled out of 50¢ by a successful and respectable business! Though,...
Read moreMy husband and I went in at exactly 2pm and ordered Caramel Frappucino and Caramel Machiato. We are supposed to meet our friends from Destinations Lynnwood as we have always gathered here every Saturday. My husband and I got our drinks and settled on a small table by the wall. A starbucks personnel approached us and mentioned that they are closing the lobby. Why sell coffee? The barista/asst mgr/manager whatever he is said that we can order coffee but stay outside, there is no table available so we walked back up the street to Destinations and met our friends who are about to join the group at Starbucks. We mentioned that they are closing the lobby. We stayed at the Destinations front park and surprisingly another member of our group called and he was waiting for the rest of the group to arrive at the same Starbucks store at about 2:15. All my friends are white and my husband and I are Asians. Before we left at 2:05 , I even asked multiple baristas why are they closing the lobby, nobody knows except the one who talked to us so I approached him again as it is a long walk back uphill for two seniors on a warm sunny day. He said it is just them making the call at 2 pm (when they should be opened until 8pm). I have to find out what is happening and called. I was told that they were initially told to close the lobby at 2pm (which affected us) and when more white customers came in to order coffee they conveniently extended opening the lobby until 4 pm at the expense of two 70-year old Asians who have left the perimeter as was told. Is that Starbucks Customer Service? You can look at the record that Starbucks Gold card number ending in 4562 was there! Please explain why this is...
Read moreMe and my mother love Starbucks. Everyone does! But. BUT! Over the course of three months, the 196th & 40th SB in Lynnwood is out to get us. I do not understand how people can deliberately destroy a drink. It is beyond outrageous. I don't know what I said to OFFEND the baristas enough that they literally refuse to make a simple drink correctly. I really think if I told a 10-year old the directions to a Refresher, they would surpass those baristas in every way. FOR THE PAST THREE MONTHS, THE DRINK I LOVE HAS BEEN RETURNED EITHER WITH NO SWEETENER OR IT IS HORRENDOUSLY SEPERATED. When this issue first came up - my mom refused to ever go again. I would literally have to beg her. Then it wouldn't stop happening. And I had to convince my mother that they weren't doing it on purpose. But it has been THREE MONTHS?! Now, I AM CONVINCED that this Starbucks actually hates us - or is wholly INCOMPETENT. Do...
