Church's Texas Chicken — Restaurant in Lytle

I placed an order with a family meal along with 6 6 thighs. My family meal came with three large. We had to wait for the 6 thighs to be made and waited about 30 minutes since they were doing the drive-through. After 30 minutes was done, whoever was in charge. I don't know if it was the manager or the supervisor they advised us that they didn't forget us.. Thought that was very nice, I'm waiting patiently. After everything was set in done and they had our things together. I noticed that the sides that we requested were not put in the bag.. They exchange the mount to the right ones. Before I walked out the door, I asked for 6 thighs that we had been waiting for were in the boxes, and they indicated yes.. Since we were exhausted, we went ahead and headed home.. 30 minutes after we got home, we opened up the boxes to get everything ready-to-eat...... where are my thighs??? No where! They gave me a mix box and the tenders that we had with the family pack.. This was not my order. When I tried to call back to get this taken care of , no one would pick up the phone.. We were on our way home, so we were about 20 minutes out from this particular location. I called corporate the next day to advise of this issue. Because this is not the first time this location. He's not provided as the correct meal. I was advised that I'd get a call back, but nothing ever happened. I paid extra for all 6 thighs and never got the money back for it or even what I ordered. As I advised before, this is not the first time this location has made the order wrong or did not put the item in the box. The sad thing is, this location was not busy at all. But 1 or 2 people in the driveway through. During the 45 minutes we were there. I would not recommend this location, and I have not...

I hate that I have to even type this bad review. The chicken is never fresh first of all & second of all tonight I went by and ordered a steak. It was barely 9:30. 30 minutes til closing. They asked what gravy I wanted and I said white. They said they didn’t have it. I said I’ll wait… they paused and didn’t say anything. Then they asked what kind of side I would like. I said mash potatoes and she said they didn’t have that. I said I’ll wait again because I was going to have to wait 6 minutes for the steak anyways. She said they didn’t have mash potatoes at all. I then asked to speak to the manager so I did. And she said they ONLY HAD LARGE MASH POTATOES. And I said “well can’t you give me a large then?” She said,”we would have to charge you extra” and I said,”that’s ridiculous I shouldn’t have to be charged when it’s yalls fault y’all don’t have small cups” I even told them they could just put one scoop of mash in a large cup and she said no. It’s so sad because the church’s chicken in Devine always pulls through. They were out of cups as well but they bought some white cups from a store and used those instead of having to tell all their customers that they don’t have coleslaw, mash potatoes, macaroni, etc. church’s chicken in Devine is the best place to go and that’s that they are a FRANCHISE. Do better Churchs chicken in Lytle. Y’all just opened up not too long ago and are slacking so bad. Get it together. Don’t waste...

On 11/15/2024 I had experienced great service. Usually I don't leave reviews, but I normally don't encounter a situation where another customer and his family was so rude to the cashier. The cashier she repeated the order twice. The entire family ignored her the first (Due to they were talking with each other) and then said yes to the second. The older lady comes back to the counter and yells she wants her mashed potatoes. The Cashier explained she didn't pay for it but she will exchange her coleslaw for potatoes at no charge. The old lady grabs her personal cup and dumps her water into the coleslaw and says ok now give me my mashed potatoes. The Cashier responded and said politely I am not doing this. You poured your personal drink into it. If you want mashed potatoes now you have to pay. The old lady called for Kevin the family made a big issue.
