Roly Poly Macon — Restaurant in Macon

Let me just say—the woman who owns Roly Poly is one of the most heartless and unprofessional business owners I’ve ever encountered. I was eating lunch next door at Barberitos when one of their kind employees warned me that a tow truck was taking cars from the lot. Sure enough, it was my truck.

I immediately went outside, and the tow truck driver told me it was the lady in the black Roly Poly shirt who was having cars towed. I approached her calmly and explained that the parking spot I was in did not say “Roly Poly Only.” Her response? A cold “Sorry, this whole lot is mine and you’re not eating in my restaurant.”

I ended up having to pay the tow truck driver $184 just to get my vehicle released. This is absolutely predatory and sickening behavior. Instead of treating people with basic decency, they’re running a towing trap to punish anyone who isn’t buying their overpriced, soggy food.

I will never spend a dime at Roly Poly, and I strongly warn others: do not park anywhere near this place unless you want to risk...

Worst. Customer. Service. Ever. I tried to call in an order because I was trying to hurry to get staff lunch on time. I was told I couldn't call in an order and I had to order online. Took extra time to do it and headed over to pick up the order. There were four people behind the counter, but apparently only one was taking counter orders. The others were TAKING PHONE ORDERS. I showed them my confirmation email and they realized it hadn't even been pulled from the computer yet. No apology. When the order was finally ready 20 minutes late (my confirmation assured me it would be done on time and even sent numerous texts telling me it was time to pick it up), they didn't offer me a cup holder or a box, just handed me several bags. No apologies, no offer of help to carry the order (it was for five people and I'm a little old lady), nothing at all to make me EVER want to come back to Roly Poly...

I was working there last year I like the staff i also was enjoying working there I stay there probably a month and I was doing my job like I supposed to so one even I just got off their clock around 3 something every thing was good before I left so probably hours later I received a call from the owner the lady with glasses who own roly poly so she call me only to tell me she didn't wanna move forward with me didnt give me no good just fire me for no reason and when I said I was upset because I didnt do anything to get terminated and when I tried to ask her why would she let me go she just said she just didnt wanna move forward with me which I didnt understand why would u hire me and then fire me a month later I dont recommend this place I believe she was racist idk because it was other people my color working there but she didn't do them like that so l don't know why she got rid of me...
