There was an incident that happened today that I feel needs to be addressed.
I almost always place mobile orders within the McDonald’s app because it’s more convenient. I provided my mobile code through the drive thru, received my receipt and got handed my food. We got our food very quickly. My sister was right next to me checking the bag and, as I was getting ready to drive home from the drive thru, she saw that there were no cookies in the bag. Of course they weren’t in the bag. This location almost always forgets them whenever I order them. It’s no issue at all. It happens all the time. So, I circled back around to get them. There was only one other car in front of me so it wasn’t busy at all.
I stated over the intercom that my 3 count of cookies were not in my bag. I was told to go to the second window. When I initially received my bag of food, a tall, young, white male with long hair was the one to hand it to me. His demeanor was very kind. He even thanked me for using the mobile app, which I thought was very nice of him.
So when I pulled to the second window to see an older white male, I was surprised. Leaning over the window, he asked me if I ordered 3 cookies or 6. I stated 3. I even had my receipt in my hand in case he needed it.
He then told me that my cookies were IN MY BAG. We told him they weren’t. My sister began to pull out her chicken strips, my burger, her fries, all out of the bag. She showed him the bag. He saw us holding the food in our hands. He then proceeded to grab the bag to check it.
YES, you’ve read that correctly. This man told us our cookies were in our bag, even though we checked beforehand. YES, he still proceeded to check our bag to make sure that there were no cookies in it, even though we took everything else out the bag besides the sauces in it.
It was only then that he asked the young man from before if he put the cookies in the wrong bag. But suddenly, moments later, I was given my cookies. The young man apologized for the inconvenience, but the older guy never apologized for accusing my sister and I of lying about my cookies not being in the bag.
I order cookies at this location all the time. Sometimes, I get them. Sometimes, I don’t. That’s not the issue. Mistakes happen. It’s not that big of a deal. But that older guy, he made this into a big deal. And that’s when reviews like these need to be written.
Because what he...
Read moreExtremely rude. My coworker and I went to the speaker and they didn't answer. Drove around and stopped at the window and no one came up. So we went through again and no one answered. Pulled up to the window. She finally came up there and opened it and said "what do you need?" You shouldn't ask the customer "what do you need" instead you should've been like "I'm sorry I didn't know you guys were sitting there. I just got my headset on. What can I get started for you?" So anyway we asked them if there was something wrong with the speaker and she said we're closed but we're taking orders right here (pointing at the window implying only at the window). Then as we're trying to order she answers the phone and starts talking to them instead while there's, from what we could see, two other employees there that could've answered the phone. She gave us the excuse that they were very busy. We were the only ones in the drive thru. We left and went to Taco Bell next door. They did the same thing. Didn't answer at the speaker. I guess they were very busy too. In the meantime we saw two cars pull up and they took their order at the speaker (we only know this because we asked the two drivers when we pulled back around to McDonald's.) So we decided to go back and try again. This time she answered but when she realized it was us she immediately switched her attitude and said "what do you want". My coworker and I have never been to this McDonald's. Even though I live in the area I don't go that way very much except for work. We thought we'd go here since it's about one of a few places open to eat 12 @night that's quick. But they were extremely rude and to make matters worse when we asked where the manager was she said she was the manager. I think McDonald's need to do what Starbucks did and shut wvery McDonald's down and run a course on how to treat...
Read moreMy daughter and I went to this McDonald's. So we order chicken nuggets. First, we asked if we could order the counter, they said yes.So we sat there for approximately about 3to5 minutes. And the young girl with the dyed colored hair very, very petite, said that no order at the kiosk. Okay, so we go to the kiosks. We order then. We try to get ice for our cups. The machine had no ice. So they bought the ice from the back. The girl that was sweeping The main lobby area was holding to the broom with those gloves. And the other lady and they scooped the ice with her hands. When they were holding the broom, a dirty broom, while they were cleaning the whole area and a RAG with chemicals on it. Then, they scooped the ice back into the machine. So I said to the taller lady, I said, miss what is going on and I explained it to her, and she said to the other lady, which is I'm assuming the manager is a small girl with the dyed hair and said, oh, nothing here. He doesn't even know what he's talking about. And I was like, wow, and i'm i'm looking at this place and then I asked for a side of ketchup, and they just dumped it in the in the six piece thing instead of putting it in the container. And i'm just saying to myself the most uncleansiest mcdonald's at the time we were there. But never again i'm like, wow, mcdonald's is really dropping the ball and I used to like mcdonald's my family. And I, it's just now, it's like becoming horrible.I mean, even the bathroom's unacceptable. It was just and the manager had no management skills.I'm sorry, mcdonald's, but this is where it's at.... Also, they're giving out coloring things for the kids. But no crayons, so my daughter's like, how do we draw on these booklets? If there's no crayons, so next time we'll just bring our...
