So, I really do enjoy eating at Zaxby's. They have always had great service and great food. However, the one located on Ivory Place is mediocre when it comes to their food. The food isn't as good as the University Zaxby's. Their service here at Ivory Place is AWFUL. I had a mobile order and picked it up through the drive-thru since it wasn't busy. Keep in mind this was BEFORE they changed it where you could no longer pick them up at the drive-thru. The drive-thru employee couldn't find my order and insisted that my order never existed even after I showed them my emails, receipts, etc. Another employee miraculously found it. They handed me my food and just shook their head. Which is fine, I got my food and moved on. Then I go several weeks later to pick up my mobile order and a lady was standing outside to take orders. I told her I had a mobile order and she said I had to go inside to pick it up. I told her "Oh, ok! I'm sorry I didn't realize that it was changed." and she responded with "DiDn'T yOu ReAd ThE sIgN?!" I don't know what I said or did to deserve that sort of attitude but figured she was just having a bad day. I parked and went inside to get my food. They have a shelf that has signs that are sectioning off orders. I checked the online order section and there wasn't anything there. There was an order on the top shelf for a delivery service so I didn't even think to check that. I asked the employee behind the counter about my order and he asked if I checked the shelf. I said that I did but the only order that was there was for the delivery service. He said, "Oh, ok." and then just walked away. I waited for about 10 minutes before deciding to check the delivery order to see if it was mine. It was mine just in the wrong section so then my food was cold. Now I know to check all orders during covid regardless of the signs that they have out. So, I go to the Ivory Place Zaxby's on 2/1/2022 around 5:30. They weren't that busy. Usually, when they aren't busy they don't have someone outside taking orders by their stop sign. I slowed down, looked around, and didn't see anyone near the stop sign. I approach the stop sign and a female employee comes running across the parking lot and points at the sign dramatically like I couldn't read and I was a complete moron. I overlooked that and proceeded to order. She wasn't rude but just acted like she hated her job. When she pointed at the sign like I was an idiot and couldn't read I ALMOST just drove off and got dinner elsewhere. I will say that I will NEVER come back here again. I work customer service and understand that we all have bad days and hate our jobs. However, I can get better service...
Read moreThis is the 3rd time in a row I've gone to this Zaxby's location and received luke warm food thru the drive thru, which is disappointing because this place is always hoppin' and poppin' when I have come thru. This tells me that they are cooking way too large of a batch of fries and tenders, as I would expect hot food to be coming up like every minute, with how busy this place has been in each of my experiences. To me this is a reflection of poor management.
On top of that, this last time I apparently came near closing time (didn't know what time they closed), and once again was busy with a drive thru line of at least 6 cars in front of me along with people standing inside to order. When I finally made it to the menu to place my order, they turned the menu sign off and wouldn't respond/acknowledge that I was there ... I looked at my phone and it was 9:59pm. So I parked my car to go inside and someone happened to be coming out as the doors were already locked. The manager happened to be running the cash register as she was still taking orders from the people inside. I interrupted her to tell her the situation and asked if I could get my order in, and she rudely respond "well I guess, cause your inside now". Maybe she had a bad day or was wanting to hurry up to get out of there, but she was definitely was not acting like a "manager" ... In any event, I still got luke warm food ... after I ordered she quickly went into the kitchen area, threw the "pre-made" food thru opening about as fast as it took for me to fill my drink, which goes to show that it was no skin off their back as the crummy food was already flippin made!
I will not be back to this particular establishment as I hate luke warm food and the management is...
Read moreIt was a convenient stop for me on my way home, but the line was supper long and after none movement I parked and went inside, I only wanted cheese bites. So I go inside and order and the staff was really interesting. After I place my order the person serving as cashier and another young lady hastily grabbed bags of food after some back and forth explicit word exchange and joking about being wrote up as the two left. The person handing out orders at the window went on a long rant about the others that had left, prior to some's boyfriend entering and every staffer announcing it and she went out with him for roughly 10 minutes. In the midst of this my food was waiting on the counter to be handed to me so I waited, stared and waited for someone to hand me the food, I really was craving these things. But without fail the person in the front handing out the food in the window did not acknowledge me or my food both patiently waiting to be be together. So the window girl ordered some one to take out on of the meals, and so when she slowly retrieved the food to deliver to the car pulled up And returned back inside I asked her if she could hand me my food that was sitting on the counter (in my mind sense no one else sees me here waiting) so she retrieves it for me and fussed stating my thoughts of them not seeing me waiting here for my food. After that I made a mental not to not return, as to top things off the person that retrieved my food was the only one that was washing here hands between customer interaction, I did not see the young lady that went out with her announced boyfriend wash up at...
