My mom & I tried to go a couple weeks ago when they opened but that place was so packed, they had 2 or 3 cop cars directing traffic and making sure the cars don't cut across to the pharmacy that is over there so we skipped it for now. But yesterday we went here on my mom's birthday after getting done an appointment we had some time to kill before the next one so instead of going to Tuckers for breakfast, I saw hours online that they open at 10am and was like this is our chance to try this place before it gets too packed!! The place opened at 10am and I kid you not there was at least 12 or 13 cars there and saw from drive thru window, there were people in a med. size line from ordering food inside. The amount of reviews for their sweet tea that I saw on a nh food page I am in was interesting and made me want to try them even more, sooner rather than later. As I have not had a positive experience almost near death with chicken and kinda don't eat it as much anymore since that time. BUT I would eat Raising Canes any time or any day of the week! Their chicken tenders reminds me of how my mom makes her homemade chicken tenders. The batter is not really thick at all and has a bit of a crunch but not overly powering and the chicken is not dry at all unlike some other places that serve chicken tenders and usually dry and crunchy almost no meat and peppery or has a kick to it. The BEST part of this all is They DON'T serve FRIED SHRIMP so my mom can eat here 100% allergy safe for her! She has a highly severely allergic to crusteaceans and almost every single fast food joint has fried shrimp on their menu! It has gotten worse even going to grocery stores now have to ask cashier if they scanned any shellfish before putting groceries up on conveyor belt and politely ask to sanitize or wash their hands before touching our groceries to avoid cross contamination. I was amazed on how great the chicken tenders were. They were so juicy, moist and downright delicious! I can't have a lot of seasonings as I have bad acid reflux and even black pepper seems to have bother me now. But their chicken is not spicy at all and so tasty. We order no seasoning on our fries so I am not a french fry person but I loved their fries, very few places where I eat fries from. I also admire their homemade honey mustard sauce! I don't know of any fast food place around here that makes their honey mustard from scratch. (If it isn't homemade and I am wrong than I need to find out what brand that is because it knocked Ken's Steakhouse brand right out of the park)! Sweet Tea is another big taste factor of mine, Mcdonald's has the best but since I tried Raising Canes Sweet Tea, they take my top #1 Sweet Tea slot now and kicked Mcdonald's to the curb! The best part? I saw you can order by the gallons which now beats Mcdonald's entirely. Funny part it took me years to replicate Mcdonald's Sweet Tea to drink at home because they don't sell it by the gallons I asked and they always tell me no so Raising Canes definitely has that over their heads. Most fast food places definitely doesn't serve plastic to go containers usually it is cardboard with their brand on it. I absolutely love that they do this instead because in my opinion I feel the food stays hotter a little longer! Garlic bread was okay but I am not that big of a bread person so don't take my word for it. My mom absolutely loved their garlic bread. I can eat their cole slaw, it was really delicious. Reminds me of KFC and Popeyes combined just without the pickles from Popeyes and the over powering onions from KFC. Their chicken and fries were the absolute best I was not expecting all of these sides but they were very much appreciated. I ordered a 4 piece meal and I was like wow look at all of this food! I did finish it but not on the cole slaw, I just got way too stuffed. My mom got a 6 piece meal and was full too. Service was great, everyone is really friendly! I thanked God today for help bringing a decent chicken place closer to where I live and shellfish allergy safe for my mom. We will...
Read moreA follow up review of this place is much needed. On Thursday, March 27, 2025, I tried Raising Canes for the first time. I will be completely honest, it was absolutely amazing, the entire experience. I ranted and raved about this place and had told other people who had tried this and not liked it, that they were out of their mind, and I didn't understand why so many disliked it. Fast forward, I had become a regular customer and had told everyone that they should try it. I visit about 3-5 times per week. I did that until tonight.
I think tonight was my final visit to Raising Canes. I have noticed a steady decline in service, wait times, quality of food, for starters. The employees I dealt with at order placing the last two times in, both seemed as though they were bothered by having to serve the customers. The first one was a girl, who had a baseball cap on and colored hair, at least at the ponytail part, which was noticeably sticking out of the back of her hat. This was the first one. Then the second occurrence was this evening (June 18, 2025), the girl who took my order, had (what appeared to be a handicap with her arm). She had a very bad attitude. I was handed my food, there were napkins in the dispenser, so I returned to the counter, and asked for some and she hands me (2) napkins. I told her, "You've got to give me more than two." This is because the chicken is very greasy.
I also observed a very dirty, disgusting dining room. The napkins (again) were empty, there were no cups for the ketchup dispenser, the seating area all had food debris on the seats and in the booths, the floor had dried up spilled soda, the place was filthy! It is the worst I have ever seen it. The chicken was tough to chew.... gross, gross, gross!
The Caniac program is garbage, I belong to it, I give my card every time I visit, and all it does it count your visits, no free food items or rewards after so many visits, like all of your competitors offer. They never told me about the Caniac club card, until one night (long after I had established myself as a regular patron) I noticed the red cards and asked for one. What a waste!
Raising Canes was awesome when it first opened in Manchester, and that lasted maybe a month. It has gone very downhill, which explains why it is mostly always a ghost town when I go to eat there.
You do have a couple very awesome staff members that this isn't counted against. They are Cheyanne? (spelling) and...

Let me say this plainly: this Cane’s location is ELITE. Not just because the chicken tenders are crispy enough to echo, or the toast is thick enough to start a cult — but because the people here go above and beyond. 🔥🍗
🇺🇸 A Salute That Hit Home
Rolling through the drive-thru after a long day, I didn’t expect much more than a quick meal. But the Cane’s team spotted my military license plates, gave me a nod of respect, and without even being asked, added a military discount with a smile.
That simple act? It meant more than the sauce ever could. (And that sauce is already legendary.)
🥇 The Box Combo That Changed My Life • Chicken Tenders – Golden, crunchy, juicy. Each bite sings the national anthem. • Cane’s Sauce – Let’s be honest: if they bottled this, I’d subscribe monthly. • Texas Toast – Fluffy, buttery, grilled to perfection. You’ll question every other slice of bread in your life. • Crinkle-Cut Fries – Lightly seasoned, always fresh. Perfect for double-dipping. • Coleslaw – I swap it for extra toast because I live deliciously.
And don’t forget the Arnold Palmer (half sweet tea, half lemonade) — the perfect chaser for fried greatness.
🔥 Pro Tips for Maximum Crispy Joy:
✅ Ask about the military discount — they honor it with pride. ✅ Swap the slaw for double toast like a Cane’s veteran. ✅ Extra sauce. Always. No further explanation needed. ✅ Go mid-afternoon to dodge the drive-thru rush. ✅ Planning for the squad? Get the Tailgate Pack — it’s fried gold for the whole crew.
💯 Final Verdict:
Raising Cane’s Manchester isn’t just fast food — it’s fast gratitude with a side of crispy perfection. They honor those who serve, serve up flavors that hit, and do it all with a vibe that feels like home. Whether you’re local, active duty, or just hungry, this spot deserves a standing ovation (with dipping sauce in hand).
10/10. No notes. Just tenders, toast, and respect.
