Flanigan's Bar — Restaurant in Marquette

Worst place I have ever been. I sat down at one of the tables, not at the bar, and I guess you have to go up to bar to be given a beer. The hysterical part is when I dropped my room key on the floor. The bartender came around from the bar to let me know it was on the floor, but NEVER asked if I wanted a beer. I was thankful, but why in the hell would you not ask me what I wanted to drink. He literally pointed to it and then left. The bartender was vaping instead of servicing his guest, i guess his so called muscle shirt was restricting his movement. After finally getting up to get a beer to the bar, I sat with an empty glass for almost 15 minutes when I finished my first…didn't realize any of this before I came in. Across the street at the Ramada is WAY better. They actually care about service. Don't waste your time with this place. What a disgrace to the Irish community…as I’m writing this, I still have never been asked for another beer. There are currently 6 people in this bar, so it might be more then this kid...

The drinks were great, but I found the atmosphere as very rude as it took forever to get served even with it not being busy and while being served and trying to drink our drinks felt very uncomfortable. It was a very difficult experience as I've heard it was a great bar so decided to stop in on my honeymoon for our first bar as a married couple. The place isn't really an Irish bar - the only thing that is Irish about it is its name. The place is pretty small considering the number of people that go there; weekend nights its so packed you can barely make it to the bar. The drinks are good and fairly priced - nothing really remarkable. The karaoke setup is kind of awkward - not what I would expect in this type of bar...
