It's a shame I don't know David Cordish, despite him sending me a thank you card from gaming at his casino. He would be disappointed in knowing his namesake flagship restaurant of the new hotel has horrible customer service and is poorly managed. His wife Suzi did an amazing job decorating the establishment David's though, so that then itself is worth a star. I have eaten inside the restaurant, once on a Friday afternoon at 1230, and a 2nd time in a Saturday at 1pm, and both times, despite at least 10 empty tables, we had to wait because there was only 2 servers on staff. The good thing is they text you and there is a nice art collection to walk around the lobby and look at in the meantime. Outside of the casino, but still attached is David's, the only place serving breakfast in the Hotel/Casino, and the only family friendly food option at the hotel. Despite the ambience, I figured I could get my food quickly with a dining room lacking in patrons so the wife and I ordered. She got waffles with strawberries and I got a turkey sausage, egg white omelette. 30 min later I was instead met with a regular sausage, non-egg white meal. I ended up just eating it because I didn't want to wait another 30 minutes for the correction. The cheese grits side and apple wood smoked bacon side were good enough I thought I would give it another chance. Despite the first bad experience, my wife and I thought we would go back and give it another try with our 7 year old son who loves to try new restaurants. It was Saturday at 1pm and the wait was just as long and the story was the same and the Friday outing, that they only have two servers on staff. We waited 15 minutes for the table, not for lack of open tables though. Once seated, another 10 minutes just to get a glass of water, and a drink order taken for a glass of milk for our son. 30 minutes after ordering, our food arrived. The food was tasty as expected, albeit probably kept on the heater a few min too long. Overall, I wasn't that impressed and doubt I'll go back again but at least our server went out of the way to go next door to the Starbucks/gelato place and a glass of milk and chocolate syrup (David's kitchen doesn't stock milk, chocolate chips or chocolate syrup apparently) to put on the pancakes for our son who is forgiving and forgot he had to wait 30 min to get them.

UPDATE: Me and wife continue to visit this reasturant. We are in love with the short rib cheese fries (see photos)! Also, Thursdays are now R&B night and well worth the night out! PREVIOUS REVIEW: I have yet to eat here but attend happy hours and late night drinks The service is always remarkable, the drinks are always made just right. Inenjoybthe live music on weekends very much as well. I have yet to go, but I also hear great things about Sunday brunch.

Very classy. By very I mean this is GQ james bond style class. The drinks were served well by a. Smooth dapper bartender. The prices are very reasonable for the amount of fancy you receive. Everything was made to perfection and the menu options were clean and healthy. No regrets besides gambling money away at the casino near by. The food n service was beyond exceptional.

Absolutely stellar service from Nate at David’s! We had a big group spread across 3 different tables and 9 separate checks—and Nate didn’t miss a single beat. He was organized, attentive, and kept everything running smoothly with a smile the entire time. It’s rare to find someone who can juggle that much and still make every person feel taken care of. Huge kudos to Nate for making our experience...
