While trying to support our community small businesses during COVID-19, Woodside Deli finds a way to manipulate a in house mistake and blaming it on a third party food delivery service. An order was placed using a 3rd party App and the OWNER of Woodside Deli gave the wrong order to the delivery driver. Once received by myself and noticing the order was wrong i reached out to the deli, upon hearing the name of the delivery service the owner spews denies providing assistance and advise i take my issue up with the delivery driver, the issue of a MISORDER! A order done wrong from the deli. When i told him that it was their issue and not the delivery service he advises he cannot help me. So i drove up to the deli which was an extreme inconvenience. I asked to speak to the gentleman i talked to over the phone, i showed him the receipt of purchase, what was purchased and the order i received. They still advised the delivery driver manipulated (switched) the bags and i should take it up with the delivery service. While calling the delivery service a man walks into the diner with my order in hand, looking very upset. I asked was he the delivery driver for my order he said No, he came into the store hisself and picked up his order and was told that bag was specifically his. The owner then realized the truth was out and his integrity was on the line, so he became apologetic and then offered to remake the orders. it took 2 minutes for the order to be "remade" (im sure he just switch containers i never ate the food due to possible exposure ) In summary the owner is very unethical, and an artist reflects thru their work so..... Read moreWalking in I was greeted right away. I was asked if I was going to dine in or takeout. I said dine in and was handed a menu and was told I can pick any seat.
The waitress came over and took my order. Breakfast Burrito, Blueberry Pancakes and Coffee! She asked what I wanted with the Pancakes. She mention potatoes, tomato’s. I opt’ed for the tomatoes since it was already going to be a good amount of food. I did ask if I could get a spicy mayo with the burrito. Sadly she said no. It comes with a salsa.
Coffee was good hot and fresh. Food came out. Everything was hot and yummy. The burrito had a classic omelette flavor. The salsa didn’t really add much to it. Sour cream was also served with it. I doubt I would get it again. I would just get a omelette. The pancakes were loaded with blueberries. Phenomenal!
Service was great! The waitress refilled my coffee 3 times. The aesthetics, it feels like the deli could use an update. You can tell it’s an older place. Still clean and all the plates, silverware, glasses were clean. Some people might be put off by how the deli looks inside.
Overall very...
Read moreHorrible customer service! DO NOT order take-out from them.
I ordered to go from them and was given the wrong order. When I called back to let them know they messed-uo my order, Amir was quick to tell me "no". Then when I preceeded to let them know they did mess-up, he grabbed someone else to take over the call (without informing me he was).
The person who answered was supposedly the manager (Phil). He was quick to argue back as well. He didn't once recognize that they messed-up packing my order and was quick to tell me he can't help. When I proceeded to tell them they gave me meat I can't even eat (ham/pork), he again DID NOT offer any form of resolution or even a sincere apology. I told him my husband tried the piece of the meat & confirmed that it smells + tastes like ham. It is ham. He then had the audacity to tell me he would just not take my orders.
I used to LOVE eating at Woodside Deli, and have been going to them for years. I will NOT be returning to them & make sure noone I know does. I would be embarrassed to recommend them & have them...
