C&C Cafe — Restaurant in Germantown

C & C Cafe in Germantown, MD, just opened and it quickly has become a favorite spot! I can definitely say it’s a favorite, but sadly, I was in the area for work. When I walked in, the place was buzzing with the first day energy and I was greeted with a such a wonderful welcome. It honestly has such a great vibe and who doesn’t love the delightful aroma of fresh-baked sweet treats.

For me, I typically gravitate to savory flavors and the lightly sweetened, ginger tea was my favorite. The chai latte & fruit teas were also amazing.

While I tend to skew savory, cream puffs are my all time favorite & these are every bit as good (maybe better) than my aunt’s, which is heresy 🤣 The quality and creativity rival any bakery I’ve tried.

C & C Cafe has officially earned a spot on my must-visit when I am in the area. It’s awesome and super friendly unlike the generic experience at rhe macro coffee shops. I had such a great experience at this bakery! The moment you walk in, it smells amazing and everything looks fresh and beautifully made. The staff is friendly, patient, and genuinely happy to help you choose.

I tried a few items, and every single one was delicious — soft, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The pastries tasted fresh, the bread had the perfect texture, and the desserts weren’t overly sweet, just perfectly balanced.

Stumbled across this place while walking around with my daughter, and I’m so glad we did! It’s super cute inside, and the staff was very welcoming and attentive. She even double-checked that I didn’t have any nut allergies before letting me purchase a macaron, which I really appreciated.

I got a strawberry puff, a strawberry macaron, two bubble teas, and some matcha cookies (so yum!). She also gave me a free slice of strawberry cake as a sample—and it was so good!
