If you love BBQ, then Mission BBQ is the place to go. Lucky for me, the smoker truck was "smoking meats" out front and the air was full of sweet smell of BBQ. Going inside, you are always greated by everyone with a hearty "hello" or "welcome". The employees here are excellent. Always cheery, helpful and engaging. Today I came in to get take out. A Chopped Brisket sandwich (NC Style with Coleslaw) XXL combo with Mac and Cheese and BBQ Beans. I love there Baked Beans. Pretty flavorful and comes with chunks of Brisket in it. I also got a pound of Pulled Chicken which is a favorite of my son. I have had lots of items here, and they are all very good. After the cashier takes your order, the team really does a quick and efficient job of getting you your food quickly. Plenty of seating here, with a back room area that can also be used. Cleaning team does an excellent job of keeping up with the tables and making sure there is room when they are busy. In addition, each table has many of the sauces, so it is great to have the variety and be able to try the various styles. My personal favorite is KC Classic, but the Smoky Mountain and Texas Twang are all pretty good. This company has an awesome mission, and the decor of the restaurant is outstanding. So stop on by and enjoy!

First timer to MISSION BBQ. I originally expected a more sit down dine-in experience, but it's more of a fast casual place. Doesn't matter though because the food was absolutely delicious and the staff were amazingly friendly. Don't remember who the cashier was (I think Ashley?), but she gave us the run down on the food options, how things worked, and even offered some food samples. I bought the 3 meat sampler, brisket (moist) and doubling up on baby back ribs, with mac and cheese and fries. The brisket was extremely tender and juicy. The ribs fell off the bones with 0 effort; you could probably eat the ribs with just a fork. The sauces available on the table are great as well and really complement the food. My favorites were the Bay-B-Que and Memphis Belle. Floor manager was also extremely kind. He came by asking how our food was and helped clear away our trays. I also saw him wiping down tables and working front of house. I've worked food service before and managers usually delegated the menial stuff to others, but he helped out where needed like a great manager. I will definitely come back again. Next time maybe I'll try the pulled pork.

Noticed this chain restaurant for a while and finally decided to give it a try. Ordered a baby back ribs and half chicken as the entrees. They both come with a corn cake. I also added a bacon with green beans and carrot cake as side orders. The staff are very friendly and explained everything to us, including how to order, how those foods were prepared, and their recommendations. Their service definitely worth 5 stars. The reason for why one star is deducted is because the food textures. The taste are ok but the texture are too soft. Feels like they are going to melt in your mouth. Probably this is their food style but unfortunately, me and my family don't enjoy much.

I’ve only ordered take out from here but I couldn’t be more pleased with the service and quality of food.

Online ordering has the flexibility needed to specify preference for details that matter like lean vs moist brisket.

Our ribs were meaty and tasty, brisket was cut with the perfect amount of fat for my taste to he moist and flavorful even before the TX Twang & the Smoky sauce that hit the spot. The jalapeño cheese sausage was just right level of spice for me, not overdone. It reheated well and stayed juicy. Yum

The baked beans are stellar and a hit with the whole family. The corn on the cob was a bit overcooked, to my disappointment (or it overcooked sitting in the heat if the to-go container) but the presentation with the corn husk still partially on was so appealing that I ate it anyways and it was surprisingly good. It seems the corn husk adds a depth to the flavor that turned corn in the cob into an artesian dish.

While I enjoyed the moist generously cut corn bread, I prefer my cole slaw without vinegar and I think they cut their creamy slaw with a touch of vinegar. The green beans are a little bit salty but oh so good! They disappeared along with the baked beans rather than sticking around as leftovers. I won’t get french fries for a to-go order again because they’re too soggy once home but I’ll definitely get the seasonal potato salad again. Right now it tastes like it’s got old bay or season salt in the mayo base with maybe celery and the texture and taste make me want the recipe!

The banana pudding was packed with crushed vanilla wafer and whipped cream in side dishes which was rich, creamy and SO good!

I look forward to exploring new items on the menu and returning for my favorites. I was surprised by the quality of food given it’s a...

I have always had good experiences with Mission BBQ in Maryland. I appreciate the fact that on a routine basis the staff go out of their way to be overly kind to patrons. I was working the week before last, and finally got a lunch break from the hospital I was working at. My Mondays are a little long as I work at two hospitals, starting at 4:30 am and finishing around midnight. At 7:50 pm I left for lunch and B-lined it for Germantown Mission BBQ, not realizing that it closes at 8 pm. I arrived at 8:01 as staff was locking up. Leslie Allen was at the door locking up as I approached. After speaking with her briefly she asked the staff if what items they had left and she kindly let me in. The manager, whom I recognized from another store (I think his name is Carl, but I'm horrible with names) greeted me also. Leslie rung up my order, and the staff quickly prepared my plates. As a Veteran, and front line hospital employee, I was overly grateful at the warmth and kindness this staff showed to someone showing up last minute and will always be thankful to the people that work here. The food is consistently good, combined with top notch kindness, makes for the best combo. Just thought you...
