First and foremost, this was a delicious burger. Not greasy, and although not gourmet, it didn't have to be. The price is reasonable in contrast to other burger joints, as well. Where we were disappointed was when we asked the young lady behind the counter if the large onion rings were a "large" amount considering they were charging a hefty $4.69, she of course told us yes. They were not. Not even close. Not only have I never received so few onion rings for being a "large", but I have never paid that much for any order of onion rings anyplace comparable to this burger shop. Although I will admit the onion rings were great, don't waste your money. That is an outrageous amount and I justifiably felt we were ripped off. Now, I'm one of the most respectful and polite people, and genuinely so, to waiters, waitresses, especially people who work in these type of venues, knowing that they've got to deal with certain rude customers, and I understand that. In most situations, I would not of said anything about the onion rings. However, I spoke to a young man very politely complementing the burger but tactfully and gently mentioning that I really thought I was going to get more onion rings for the price that I paid. His apathy was overwhelming. He made no reference to what I said, didn't even give me an apology, didn't offer a few extra onion rings, nothing, and was just simply an arrogant early 20's something starring in his own movie. I wasn't trying really to get anything for free, I just would have accepted him at least making reference to what I said. He obviously doesn't need to be in a customer service oriented business.
So, to recap, in conclusion, definitely go for the burgers, but again, don't waste your money on the onion rings regardless of how tasty...
Read moreAte here on way to Canada from Seattle. I had a double cheeseburger, fries, fountain drink, and a peanut butter and chocolate shake. The food was great!! Other person I was with had a single cheeseburger, fries, and fountain drink. The standout though was that shake 🤤. All that came out to about $30 (with tip).
Also the young lady working the counter did a great job multi tasking (answering phone orders, in person orders, and making shakes). The older lady assisting the main cook was really moving, made me tired just watching her.
Pros: food is delicious, price is reasonable (coming from a pricey area already), shakes are some of the best I’ve ever had, service is outstanding (they were very busy when we came in), food tasted very fresh, food is made to order (we still only waited about 10minutes for our food).
Cons: The restrooms were blocked off when we came in (wanted to wash our hands, used hand sanitizer instead, should have asked but I’m giving them the benefit that it’s something out of their control)I seriously can’t think of anything in this section that would lower their...
Read moreI almost don't want to give this place 5 stars, because once a place becomes very popular I don't get my food as fast! AJ's Burgers reminds me of a burger should be if you went to a friend's house. Now that friend may not be making big huge beef patties but for crying out loud he has other people there that need to eat. But I can say AJ's has fresh lettuce, onions, tomatoes, and REAL bacon not fakeon but real bacon!(Well at least every time that I go). AJ's are pretty good on ketchup, mustard, mayo ratio. They don't put to much not to little just enough for you to know that you can taste each on individually! Don't know how they do it, but they do! Shakes are perfect pair with there burgers.(Get the blackberry!) Fries are pretty good! Also is you are wondering what to get when you go there, get there jalapeno burger and make it a double! Wife likes there mushroom burger! So with that I say, go get yourself a AJ's Burger! Get out of this comment review thing and go! Because that's where I am probably heading after...
