JJ Tacos — Restaurant in Maui

I’m never one to leave a review but this place deserves a good honest review. We loved the service. He was kind and friendly. He checked on us while we ate to make sure we were okay. Very very kind. The food was AMAZING! You can taste the love he puts into his food. Very authentic and flavorful. We both got a birria burrito and our daughter got the Keiki quesadilla. When I tell you it was amazing I mean 100/10 kine! The salsa was so good I had to ask for another one and I drank them after each bite. I can’t believe it took us this long to know about jj tacos being that we live right up the road!! This place is definitely a hit. We will for sure be back!...

MUST EAT HERE!! Oh man I should’ve taken a picture. I was just too excited to dig in! I got the Quesabirria tacos. Two tacos with melted cheese, Birria (shredded spiced beef) onions and cilantro. Served with a side of consommé sauce (a rich flavorful chili based broth which they cook the Birria in). It was so delicious!!! After a long day of hiking at the National park I was starving and JJ’s taco did not disappoint! I had 2 steak fajita tacos and I tried Quesabirra for the first time and it was perfection!
