I made an online order, 2 sandwiches, a few days ago. They werent toasted, cheese was wrong, toppings were wrong.. on both. I call to let them know but they want me to bring them back but i cant im on lunch break and no time to go back for their mistake.
So im hungry and eat the one and save the other for dinner where i can take it home and fix it. I was told i could get my sandwich replaced for free, even though they messed up both of them. Today i go in for my free sub replacement. I tell them who i am, they pull the receipt and tell me i only get one replaced because i ate them.. i dont know about you guys but growing up we didnt get to turn down food just because it wasnt special to our wants. So yes i ate the food i paid for.. any ways they tell me i only get one and proceed to make the exact sandwich from before with out a word about what i might want..
Fun story.. again they “toasted” in but the cheese didnt melt, the bread is still soft, zero toasted affect, toppings are missing and all in all, the sandwich servers had an awful attitude with me as if its my fault they got the first order wrong.
Needless to say, but will still be said, they need a lot more training there. Maybe new employees even.
Still mad im shorted a sandwich and my replacement is still wrong. Shame on you ppl for giving me bad attitude for your mistakes. I didnt want the wrong food the first time or this time but i got it anyways.
If you dont like your job. Quit.
—3/6/25 update-
Been back 3 times since, each time i asked for toasted i got mildly warm. Explained i wanted the bread browned and crispy. They said they couldnt do that. I go back today, now the toaster is down, supposedly, and they claim they cant toast the bread.. so i ask, how did you get your bread today?.. they say they made it in house.. so i asked, with an oven?.. they say yes.. so i asked, so why cant you toast the bread?… they say, the oven only cooks the bread, it cant toast it… sigh.. is this how lazy the worlds come to?..
-5/6- Update
Still cant seem to get a toasted sandwich here. Today i asked if they toasted or warmed my sandwich. They said it was toasted yet i my bread is soft and cheese isnt melted.. i asked if they put a slice of white bread in a toaster and it popped back out still white and soft if theyd call that toast.. they said no.. so they clearly know what toasted is but just seem to refuse to do it claiming the over just has a button to push… well folks if you know the button youre currently pushing to “toast” a sandwich isnt working… have you considered a different button???…this is not rocket...
Read moreWe drove 13 hours to chicago for an enjoyable trip and were dreaming of Sbubby the entire temporal length of our travels. Unfortunately, the timing was not right, and we did not enjoy a Sbubby meal while in the city. However, we were determined to eat long Sbubby subs on the drive home. We entrusted our navigation to Google Maps, and after a grueling 45 minutes of highway driving in our gasoline-consuming vehicle, we found ourselves at the Toledo Airport, led astray by the Internet! Our driver peed themselves, which necessitated a quick stop into the airport. We were, however, unable to experience the succulent flavors of Sbubby subs without buying plane tickets. We resolved to visit this Sbubby after our long journey and were not disappointed! We got a turkey 6 inch sbub, a turkey and provolone footlong sbub, and a 12 inch chicken flatbread with pepper jack cheese. They were good. I have awarded 4 out of 5 stars because they are no longer carrying the Veggie Patty, but every other figurative vestibule of our visit was exciting...
Read moreThe three young girls that were working during my visit today (12:30 on 6/23) were SAINTS. I walked in the store to see a man with his elderly parents, and another elderly man by himself. They handled the family so well even after they were hard of hearing and a tad difficult to deal with, and the man in front of me in line seemed to be a regular - one of the girls even paid for his meal. I have never seen such outstanding customer service at a subway before. These girls went out of their way to be SO POLITE and take out of their own checks to pay for a regular customer. I was in awe. On top of that, my sandwich is perfect. Thanks girls, faith in humanity restored. I hope you are rewarded for your excellent...
