On July 31st about 4 I went into this McDonald's and saw a young manager walking around dictating orders to the staff as if he was Superior. He was wearing a headpiece microphone even though he did not need it and was disrespectful to the workers while flipping through his binder and acting like a dictator. I think he needs more training on what a manager is and is not. A manager gets in and works with the employees and shows them how to do their job by his example. He values of the employees with the respect they deserve which makes his job easier. That's what a manager does but this young man in his twenties had let the title go to his head and instead of working he was demanding and belittling to those under him. I saw an older lady talk to him about his behavior toward one of the employees and although he was polite to do the older lady I could tell he did not appreciate her remark and suggestions even though there was spoke in a very nice way to him that that is not how you treat employees or talk to them. This McDonald's needs to train their management and screen their behaviors better. The employees may not be complaining but the customers are and I am one of those customers. I am appalled to how arrogant this young manager was. I think there's hope for him if somebody just teaches him how to manage people properly with the respect that he wants from them returned to them from him. This was my experience today and my observation and it made me sad to see this in are young people and our future and current bosses who are totally unqualified for the position. Train your managers better please if you want to keep employees and...

Last night, I was picking up food to feed my friend and her kiddo. I was trying to learn how to use the app without an order already being placed.
The gentleman (I believe his name was David) told me, "no problem, I can walk you through the app, come on up to the first window."
At the time, there was only one other vehicle in the drive thru with me. He asked me how my day went, and I had a wave of emotions hit me because I had just left work after a really bad and stressful situation.
I briefly said something along the lines of work was hard, we talked about where I worked, and I swear the whole time he had so much empathy.
I started panicking once I saw more vehicles lining up behind me, and started to have an anxiety attack.
The WHOLE TIME he had the most gentle voice, reassuring me I'm okay and I'm doing great, despite us literally just trying to use the app and place an order.
When he gave me back my card, he said "see? You did it! You made it!"
That small act of kindness and understanding helped me snap out of my anxiety attack so I could safely drive afterwards.
So please, if you are part of corporate, please don't just do a little shout-out or a free meal for this man. He deserves SO much more for the sheer amount of empathy...
Read moreIt's McDonalds. I mean...Do I really need to write a review? You're going to go there. You'll probably regret it after. But you'll go back. Because your subconscious will make you forget it's trash and remind you how much you loved it all as a kid. That's just how McDonalds works. 𤷠Except now the food cost so much more now, you're better off just ordering takeout from a better quality casual dining restaurant. It's not the cheap option anymore. Yeah, There are deals on the app. But the app is buggy AF. They changed the inside so much post covid it's just weird. Modern wood and steel. Soullessness. I'm not sure who they think their target demo is but I assure you those people don't eat at McDonald's. Staff is cold and detached from any semblance of hospitality, avoiding the counter like a polarized magnet unless it's for a doordash driver. I don't think anyone feels good while eating at McDonald's. It's just world weary numb people doomscrolling on their phones, killing time while their kids scream and climb around the play place.
The McRib doesn't need another tour, clowns are creepy, and you know the ice cream machine is going to be down so don't even bother asking. Let's stop this nonsense and spare ourselves the excessive 1000% daily value of sodium and sugar! Revolt!
NGL tho,...
