Unfortunately, the rating I must give them is definitely two stars mainly for the food, service and atmosphere was totally on point. I like the Marketing spiel, love and what not. I had got the Madison bumgarner sandy and I must say it not only had too little meat, but was super doughy. Every time you bite the sandwich itās like youāre eating only bread, carb overwhelming as heck. A thinner bread would suit them. The sauces they put on there was also odd and didnāt mix well flavor wise. I already mentioned they donāt put enough protein in the sandwich, but to top it off they put so little cheese on there one can barely even taste the cheese. Every bite was mainly lettuce and bread with a strong too sweet, off putting sauce. For cheesesteak sandwiches id say this place is not it. I would totally give this place another shot cause I want to like this place, so perhaps I got the wrong sandwich. This was my first time ever in any Ikeās sandwich shop, so Iād say Iāll give them 2 more tries before I give up and never go again. The magical 3x , maybe on the third try Iāll fall in love who knows.
On the positive side of things they had these all natural teas & lemonades/strawberry fountain drinks which i totally liked more than anything hereā¦ā¦..but one cannot go to a restaurant just for theyāre fountain drinksš
I first saw this place when I was living in Oahu Hawaii, they had a location in Ala Moana shopping mall in the food court by target , I just checked today to see if theyāre still open and not to my surprise they closed down that locationā¦ā¦I can see why it...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreA whole lot of money for a tiny amount of meat. I donāt know what the hype is about this place. I went there for the first time yesterday and was very disappointed. The bread was too big and too hard, and the ratio of meat to bread didnāt qualify it to be called a sandwich. They should change the name to āIkeās Love & Breadā. Then again, I didnāt āLoveā the bread, so maybe āIkeās Breadā? I had the #18 special, and there was hardly any meat on the sandwich at all. I sat inside right next to the picture of the sandwich that I got, and the picture on the wall with tons of meat, tomatoes, and lettuce, didnāt compare to my very thin portion of what was supposedly three meets, lettuce, tomatoes, etc. It looks as if they took one thin slice of turkey, a very thin slice of salami, an extremely thin slice of roast beef, and added sauce. I had about a quarter inch of toppings, added to about 4 inches of bread. It didnāt even come close to the picture that I sat next to. I wish I had taken a picture of my sandwich, but I never intended to post a review, but found it imperative to do so because of the horrible value of this place. I didnāt enjoy the bread; too dense and too crusty on the top. I spent $58 for three sandwiches, two chips, and two drinks! Outrageous! I can go to so many other places, spend $58 and get so much better food! I definitely...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI knew of Ikeās when I lived in Orange County so was super excited when I saw they opened a location in Menifee. The sandwiches do not disappoint. The Dutch Crunch bread is soo good and like no other sandwich bread Iāve had. The staff is really welcoming and they have pickup orders ready at the time they say theyāll have it ready. Their signature Dirty Sauce is yummy and I love all of the sandwich options they have, including vegan and vegetarian. So far Iāve only had the Ikeās Reuben but it was really good. My mom had the Jim Rome and Iāve never seen a sandwich so big. Love the whole message and vibe of the company too. To people complaining about the price, youāll spend $10 or more for yourself at Taco Bell. A bowl at Chipotle next door is $10-$12 and they barely give you any food. At least at Ikeās you get a really good sized sandwich and a lollipop if you want it. Will definitely be back here to try more of their...
