So I booked a party for my Tots whose birthdays are 8 days apart. Figure okay they have a new deal haven't been to Chuck E Cheese in over a decade, they've never been...let's book it. Was so excited for them to experience something new and celebrate with their family. The party i booked was from 3-5p... so I figured let me get there before the party time starts so I can have all payments submitted and food ordered etc. I get there at 2:40.. go to the cashier inform her I needed to pay the remaining balance for a birthday party I booked. The cashier states her manager has to handle this and after calling on their radios was informed it would be a while. I figured out no problem I understand multiple parties and a crowd of others to help, no issue. So I order ny food and have everyone come in to prepare to take our tables. I walk over and see my children's names on the board so I stood there just waiting until someone was abke to help me. Fast forward to about 3:15... I speak with someone to inform that I still needed help. They let me know they'll get someone for me. In the meantime they brought over the kids party cups... would assume this would be brought over with the utensils as well but no and so forth which should have been on the table in my opinion prior to the party starting this way there would be no delays. So I sat some more... more of the family entered and we are concerning with one another in general conversation I realize hmm it's 3:45.... still no utensils nothing to cut the cake. So I go and ask a different employee for assistance who then refers me to the manager. Now at this time...it's close to 4pm. The children are to receive two hours of unlimited play time, well we have lost an hour that was designated for them to play. So finally my food is ready and I can go pick it up. Finally get everything offered with the package deal. So it's almost 5pm. We moved over tables for the others who also had parties booked. I ask to speak with a manager regarding the issue and receive I guess a refund which isn't what I necessarily wanted I would've gathered had an extra hour of play time for my children as thats what they were granted for what I paid for. We extended our stay until 6pm and I had to cancel plans that was scheduled months ago...just to keep the two hour honored on ny end for my babies. I was not too pleased however my children had a good time so that gave me satisfaction. I will not return as the horror stories I had already been told when informing those we invited along with this simple mishap,...
Read moreThe biggest rip off ever!! We used to love chuckee cheeses! It was a weekly ritual! Birthday parties there! The past 2 years it’s been going downhill but then it has gotten to the point where you can hardly win a candy after $60 of play points! I will attach a picture of the cards my daughter won. 59 cards! Each card used to be worth 30 tickets then some time down the road it was reduced to 15 tickets, now same game no warning, cards are worth NOTHING!!!! Apparently there’s 1 card out of 600 that you have to get to complete the set! Makes NO sense!! This is the only game my daughter played, she left with NOTHING!!! Now how do you have a game that a kid plays for an hour that is supposed to dispense cards by landing with a coin exactly on circle, and gets the winning cards, and they aren’t worth a thing? It’s a simple rip off! Kids come to play, they come to win prizes! You are taking the joy away with these cheap new rules. It’s also not just this game, most games give 1-10 tickets. On top of that, you go ahead and raise the cost for the prizes. We will not be coming back weekly anymore and spending $60+. Id rather take my business to Rollhouse in mentor which gives a chance for a good ticket payout and amazing prizes that aren’t an arm and a leg. For $25 at Rollhouse you get 140 play points and it lasts a while! Most of their games are 4 credits or less. I’m disappointed...
Read moreWe had my sons birthday party here last weekend. The party area was average, and the hype wasn't quite there. The most important notable point is that we all got violently ill that night. My son puked all over his bed after his birthday party that night, my daughter missed school the next day. I was also ill. I dine out for a majority of my meals, so I decided that yesterday, I'd put it to the test. I ate a piece of the leftover pizza, and without doubt, I was sick as a dog. The atmosphere is ok, but the food is simply not safe. We have been ill almost every time we left here and eaten the food over the last two years, this was the worst. Lastly, my son stacked up enough points to get a Tonka set. We got home, amd half the pieces were missing. We waited 15 minutes for a manager, because of all the employees on the floor, no one was of age to be allowed to climb a ladder to retrieve the toy...which by the way, they pulled ones from the back that did not match what was on the actual shelf. A complete let down, not ever going to repeat...
