Leonardo's Pizza — Restaurant in Mequon

I called in for a delivery order and the guy that answered the phone had THE worst attitude. He was very short, rude and had a tone like it was a problem that I called. He did not give me a total and hung up abruptly after saying "it'll be about a half hour". The delivery driver arrives and there were charges for food I did not order. The driver(who was very pleasant and professional) calls the restaurant to get a breakdown of the order and passes the phone to me. Rude guy: "What can I do for you ma'am?" in a very rude tone. I reply that I would like to be refunded for the additional charges and he says "That's fine! I don't really care at this point I just want to go home." I respond: I can hear that and I'm sorry but I didn't order this additional food." He agreed to refund the charges. I get into my apartment to find that my pizza was not done. I called back and asked to speak to a manager and of course this guy claims to be the manager and argues with me that the pizza is done. He knows because he made it. I told him I know he made it because he's ready to go home and tried to rush my order. He also proceeded to tell me that next time I order my pizza, I "need to order it well-done". I didn't realize pizza came any other way than well done or maybe he thought I was ordering steak? At the end of the phone call he agreed to refund my entire order after asking me if I wanted him to stay late "especially for me to remake my order." The service was horrible, I'm still hungry and it's late. I am incredibly disappointed in the service and quality of the food. I hope your experience is better than mine was because I did not do anything to deserve...

So I had this pizza for work one day and the pizza tasted great so I decided to try it again with my wife. The guy I spoke with was extremely rude and just wanted to get off the phone. I ordered a 18 inch BBQ chicken pizza with black olive/green olive. My total came out to 24.95 + tax. This made no sense to me since a cheese pizza 18 inch is 14.25 (on their website) and each topping is $2.00. So I explained that with 3 topping it should come to 20.25 but instead of explaining to me how they priced he simply said "That is just how we price it." Then I walked through it "OK, I start at a cheese" and, just so his point stood, he claimed that switching to BBQ sauce was $2.00 as well. So after 'switching to bbq sauce' and adding the 2 olives, I was at 20.25. So then I said "So adding chicken is 4.70?" and he said "Yes" simply so his price still made sense obviously even though he was clearly ripping me off. Furthermore, if we start at a BBQ chicken pizza which is 19.95 for the 18 inch and has bbq, chicken, and onions... if you substitute the onions for an olive and add the other olive, it should come out to $21.95. This guy was extremely rude and too stubborn to simply lower the price and decided he would rather make up some random reasons for how they were priced. "Yes, chicken costs $4.70" LOL. Awful! First time and also our last! We came in at 8 PM. The employee barely said hi. We dined in and decided to get mozzarella sticks as a starter, a garlic bread, a 12’ thick “veggie” pizza and my fiancé ordered a 12’ thin pepperoni, bacon and sausage pizza. Total came out to almost $50 WITH a coupon for free garlic bread and half off one pizza! There was lack of customer service as the guy who cashed us out and made our food had an attitude and wasn’t very friendly. We watched how he talked to other customers over the phone and in person and it sounded as if everyone was an annoyance. The food came out at a reasonable time but my pizza was over cooked and burnt and my fiancé’s was flimsy and dripping with heavy grease. There were 2 other customers dining in and 2 people that called in for delivery after us so it’s not like it was crazy busy. Plus he had one other employee from what I could see in the kitchen! We ate our food anyways because we were hungry and didn’t want to bother to have them remake or spend time trying to figure out where else to go. I shouldn’t have had to use a fork to eat around the burnt sides of my pizza! We both ended up feeling sick an hour after eating and ended up tossing the rest of our food out.
