We've been to Chili's all over the country, including this one, many times. We go because we like the food and the place and normally we get treated fairly well. Prices have gone up at most restaurants and Chili's is no exception. If I am going to pay $50 for lunch, there's a certain level of service and professionalism to be expected. First thing I noticed was the bar side was completely packed out. A little strange considering the other side was almost empty except for a few tables in the back. Which is where they seated us, next to the kitchen in the corner. Had just came up for an appointment and wanted a quick lunch before driving back home. So, we skipped the appetizer and ordered a sandwich and a salad. Drinks came soon enough but what little ice there was melted in a few minutes. I ordered the Chili's Philly, which normally comes loaded with a bunch of jalapeños. They're why I like the sandwich. Needless to say, this one had very few. I was going to end up taking half of it home anyway, so I just moved them to one side and would use my own at home. My wife ordered the Quesadilla Explosion Salad with Grilled Chicken. It came out covered in shrimp with a little chicken underneath. Our server had just dropped it off and disappeared. We managed to flag down another server and explained that my wife was allergic to shrimp. Well, she just walked away and left the plate sitting there. It took several minutes for our server to come back. She took the plate back and brought back a salad with whole fried chicken tenders on top. My wife had recently had throat surgery and there was no way she could eat that. So, the server took it back and finally brought back a salad with the grilled chicken. There wasn't much grilled chicken to speak of and personally it didn't look like it was grilled very long. However, we had been there two hours already and I had reach a point where I needed to leave before I said something I shouldn't. So, my wife just got a couple of to go boxes, I paid the bill and we left. I have been to that restaurant many times before and it's never been that bad. If you don't like your job just quit. As for management, I have better things to do...
Read moreWhen my family and I walked in, there was a group of 4 girls that worked there standing in plain sight by the bar laughing and joking around. They looked at us and then ignored us. Finally, about 3 minutes later, a girl from the back came out and to the front and said the host will be right with you. She walked over to the group of girls and talked to one who was the host. She, the girl from back, then waived her hands in the air and came to seat us, not the host. Once we sat down, no one came to our table for about 10 mins to help. Meanwhile, those girls are still messing around by the bar (loud and obnoxious, not professional). We eventually got a very nice young girl named Charlotte...she was the only one there with a good attitude or seemed to care about her job. There was another Man working the floor with her, but that was it.
Charlotte was the saving grace and needs a raise or promotion cause she truly cares and was so professional. The entire hour we were there, the other girls never once raised a finger to help or wait a single table. Come to find out, Charlotte wasn't even supposed to be working our section we were sat in, but the other girls didn't want to work and they told her they weren't going to wait our table, so she took it upon herself to do so.
The owner/manager needs to get a better grip of employees or you're going to lose a lot of business. By far this was the worse customer service and attitude I've seen in a long time for a dine-in restaurant.
If you must eat at this specific location, then I would personally request Charlotte as your waitress, she truly...
Read moreSo my sister and brother in law treated my son, my daughter and I out to eat. In the beginning I was very understanding that I had to wait about 30 minutes before being seated because they only had 3 waitresses for the whole restaurant. In walks in a nice family of four. Well the waitress was very anxious to seat them before us even though we only had 1 more than they did, but that one was a six year old child. After we were finally seated, the family of four was seated a few minutes behind us. The waitress took our drink orders which was nothing fancy, just regular drinks. We received our drinks and she said she would be back to take our orders. She went and got the family of four drinks, then took their orders! She brought their food back, took our orders, and she refilled one of our drinks, my son. We're patiently waiting because we realize they're short until the four were finishing up their food while we still have not eaten a piece of bread. They told us goodnight on the way out, and we did the same. After all it is not their fault she was very attentive to them while ignoring us. Little did she know my brother in law is a WONDERFUL tipper, until. . . Why do we not even have appetizers? They looked at us and shook their heads because they too realized just how sorry and pathetic she was to us. When we finally did receive the food about an hour later, of course it was cold. I usually enjoy it herein , but I will NEVER be returning anytime soon. Whenever I do go back, if I see her, I am switching sections or going back out the door. This is the worse...
