Went ahead and try this new spot on Main Street just to see what it was about. Once you’re inside, you will be surprised on how clean, welcoming, and adjusting all around great spot to have luncheon. Very cool little spot and the staff very friendly. The only downfall of this place is the service itself. I ordered a Carne Asada burrito with only pico and guacamole. I asked the guy behind the counter what is in the burrito and he tells me it comes with rice and beans as well. I tell him to please remove the beans and the rice. When I get my food, I take a bite, ensuring off the beans and rice we’re still included. I asked to guy to come back to tell him about the mistake made on my order. He stands there and says “well I didn’t hear you.” I politely ask him if he can please take it back and he says “no I can’t because you already ordered it that way.” This place is not cheap. It’s a little pricey to be honest, but I still wanted to give it a try and of course, willing to pay no problem at all. However, that kind of service is not OK in my book. Again nothing but respect for the owner and for this establishment however, the service could be a...
Read moreWe had 6 of us arrive on Sunday morning 10-19 by bicycle to eat breakfast. Their patio was in the direct sunlight so I tried to move one of their small (inadequate) umbrellas to shade my table and a waiter came out and forbid me to do that claiming it would block diners from getting to the tables (never mind that I brought 6 diners to eat at the very table he claimed we would block). Then, the 6 burritos we ordered did not come to our table until ONE hour of waiting in the hot sun. Actually, only 5 burritos came. One of our group (the 1st one to order) did NOT get his burrito at all! They forgot his order! Even an order of guacamole took an hour to come out and we suspect they forgot that order too because we had to remind them twice. Meanwhile, next door at Worth's, 6 of our other cycling friends had food in 10 minutes and sat in the shade enjoying it while we starved. The eventual burritos DID taste good but by then I was so hungry it is not clear if they were actually delicious or we were...
Read moreThe co-owner, I believe her name was Pam, was so friendly as soon as we stepped in the door. She went in depth through the menu options and we quickly felt like we were having dinner among family. We showed interest in a local brewery that they are collaborating with and she gave us the total rundown.
The food was absolutely incredible. We started with the chips and salsa - incredibly fresh chips and so delicious. We shared a carnitas burrito and squeezed some salsa on top, yummy - and again MADE TO ORDER and you can taste it. My husband got a stack of pancakes and he loved it (amazing syrup as a bonus). My real star was the churro and this is not to be taken lightly. I think they’re better than Disneyland. Ugh so good.
If not just for the food, you should go for the delightfully inviting atmosphere that these guys...
