First this is nothing against the two young men that assisted me because they were extremely courteous and helpful regarding my whole ordeal... so I decided to place an online order for dinner for my family and we all love Church's chicken... I placed an order for the chicken tenders family meal with the two large sides of Mac and cheese plus mashed potatoes and gravy and a small fry for the ride home lol.. I got extra gravy because there's never enough (cream gravy is better with tenders LoL). I also ordered the jalapeno poppers and 2 apple pies and a half gallon of sweet tea because they have great tea but I'll get to the last 2 items later. So I received my order and the young man at the window was sweet enough to give me a cup of ice water because I was extremely hot... I left without checking my order because I had broken my leg and ankle the day before and I was hurting. But half way home I was trying to find my Fries when I noticed that my sweet tea wasn't in the bag so I turned around and went back and they were extremely helpful and apologized for not putting in with my order... now on to the food review... the Fries were hot which I love, the tenders and biscuits are always on point. The sides were hot and delicious but the lid on the Mac and cheese was completely damaged and it leaked in the bag the mashed potatoes leaked as well and the peppers were leaking in their bag and into the big bag. Now the apple pies... I ordered 2 but got one so I gave it to my sister...the frosting is amazing but so creamy and thick the pie stuck to the box lol. Ā Ā Ā Read more3/16/24 - location on Galloway. Unfortunately, my walk in experience was horrible. Two young males working the front, no acknowledgment, they just looked at me and said nothing. I guess they were waiting for the counter person to say hi because they canāt speak. Finally after two minutes, the manager came and said, what would you like? He didnāt say hello either. I ordered a 2 piece, asked for two thighs. When I arrived home, I couldnāt wait to eat it because I was craving chicken. What a mistake it was buying from here. First of all, I didnāt get my two thighs like I requested, I guess the male manager does not accept requests. Second of all, they looked burnt brown and small. I took a bite and yes, the chicken tasted burnt maybe because it was old oil. The only good items were the mashed potatoes and biscuit. The total of my meal was $10.60 and what a waste of money coming here. I dislike leaving bad reviews because I love to support my community but this experience was not worth driving to in the rain and my money. Owner/management, train your employees to acknowledge the customerās when they walk in the door. In general, if anyone is not happy at their job, where you work with people 24/7, you are in the wrong place. I also always do my pick up inside the building so I can have them fix any errors in real time. I pull up today on a Sunday night at 845 PM and they have locked all their doors and refused to acknowledge knocking. The door clearly had the hours of operation up for display, confirming they locked their doors before business hours ended. If it werenāt for location being down the street from my home, I would never come here.
I had no choice but to use drive thru. I come home and of course my order is wrong. Of course it is. I ordered tenders. LAST time I went to pick up my order and they did this to me they were like āweāre out of tenders so thatās why I gave you thatā With no heads up. Iām sure that man, the Spanish speaking manager (Iām Mexican and weāve spoken to each other in Spanish) decided heād make another āexecutive decisionā without consulting the customer. I wouldāve 1000% asked for a refund had he told me there were no tenders. I also didnāt get my biscuits or my large side. Their doors are already locked so whatās even the point of going back?
