I booked this hotel because it was kind of last minute trip and the better options were gone. Only the very expensive hotels were available and this 2 stars hotel. So I chose this hotel. Still not cheap but just not very expensive. When I got to the hotel, around 12pm I was told that I can’t check in until 3pm unless I pay extra $30, so I waited until 3pm. When I checked in the hotel, the room smell weird. I had to buy an air freshener otherwise I don’t think I can stand the smell. The room looks clean just don’t know where the smell came from. The shower space is small and you really hv to be careful so you don’t hit your elbow on the glass and I feel like this shower/bathroom is designed only for skinny people. Lol. The elevator is also small and doesn’t really fit more than 4 people. The AC worked well. The wifi worked well only because my room is close to the elevator. But my friend’s room is deep inside far from the elevator, that room only got 1 bar wifi with door open. TV in my room worked well but not my friend’s room. My friend’s room TV doesn’t work because the outlet is broken. They hv the ice bucket in the room, we got the free ice from their restaurant. Just bring your bucket downstairs and ask for ice. We stayed for 4 days, they will give you extra towel and toilet paper if you asked for it - with no cost. But if you asked them to clean your room they might charge you $50 (according to the note posted on the check-in window). The people who worked for the hotel were friendly. The good new is the CVS is right next to it. Very convenient. And beach front. Also a big parking lot about 2 blocks away, max $20 per day. No street parking. Don’t waste your time looking for...
Read moreDO NOT GO HERE. I went here tonight as i was solicited off the street and told that there was a "two for one deal" for happy hour. "Plus a shot." We sat and ordered what we thought waere $25 drinks. I literally said "ill have a margarita" and pointed at the $25 margarita. In my mind i was purchasing a $25 margarita and i would later get another for free. We each ordered and shortly after we were each brought out these HUGE drinks. It was dazzling. We couldn't possibly finish a whole one and then a whole other free one. We were in awe thinking we got a great deal. What we didnt realize was that these drinks were actually $55 each. We were tricked and scammed. All i have to say is that this is not how you obtain and retain customers. I will never come here again. And i will tell everyone i know not to come here. It is a cheap tourist trap. We were not told that we would be automatically signed up for the $55 two for one deal. When i ordered a margarita, i would have never ever ordered a $55 drink if i had known that whether i was getting two or one. It is very unfair what they do. If i could, I'd give less than a 1- star review because that's what they deserve. Poor service and scammers at that, trying to trick you...

Just like majority of the reviews have mentioned, this business runs a bait & switch tactic to get guests at their restaurant table. However, what they don't tell is the actual prices of drinks/food along with others fees (service charge aka tips) that will be added to the total (close to 30% extra).
On a Monday night, they lured us in with a buy one get one free drink special. I got a margarita and a virgin mango margarita for my pregnant wife. The drinks were 60oz, but not that great - too watered down and didn't have a good mixture. I almost finished my drink, but my wife only finished half way.
The biggest surprise came when our waitress brought the check. The total was $90 to what ultimately was for only ONE DRINK. The drink itself was around $65 + their fees (tips) and taxes. Oh, on top of that they expected additional tips to be left....not happening with this kind of service and these type of prices.
I know it's Miami Beach and all, but this is ridiculous and down right fraudulent in how this business is running. This left such a bad taste in my mouth that I don't even want to come back to Miami for a second...
