Probably the most overpriced restaurant I've ever been to. We were 2 people, and decided to go there for a quick lunch upon our arrival to Miami Beach since it had very good reviews. We each had a sandwich and a drink. The food was ok, the sandwich was very bready and neither of us finished it. The drink tasted good, but the waitress did not understand my order and instead of a small drink, I got a large one. However, after tasting both of our drinks, my friend and I concluded that my drink had barely any alcohol in it, let alone two shots. The service consisted of the waitress taking our order and bringing our food, that's it. No checking up was done, but ok. So imagine our surprise, when our bill came up to 100$ because they casually added a 20% "mandatory" service fee of which we had no idea. And after we paid, the waitress brought us the check with a pen to ADD TIP! This was absolutely not worth it. We went to a nice Portuguese restaurant a few days later, had appetizers, main course and better drinks for less than then with tip included. Absolute...
Read moreWaiter (Fredrico?) had a horrible attitude. When we asked for water, we were given bottled waters that were already opened. When we asked for tap water instead, the waiter refused and really said Miami tap water is not drinkable, and told us we had to pay $5 per bottle.
It's shocking to have a waiter LIE to you to make you pay more (and theres a mandatory 20% service charge), especially when many other Miami restaurants give the option of tap water (Miami tap water is safe by the way!!)
Salmon came out raw and waiter didn't apologize and phrased it like we preferred to have it cooked more. Calamari was bitter too. Other plates tasted fine but it's concerning that the poorly cooked dishes are all seafood considering a significant amount of the menu has seafood.
Portions are fairly large too and there is a great view but the sleaziness of the waiter ruined the whole experience. Everyone else was nice but please get a new waiter and learn to...
Read moreWe dined at this restaurant Thursday morning which was near our Airbnb. Lucila sat us at a table on the sidewalk. We looked at the menu and ordered a bottle of water and one mimosa each. She offered us the bottomless mimosa special but we weren't gonna be around that long. I ordered the salmon benedict and my fiancé ordered the meal with scrambled eggs, potatoes, turkey sausage, and a waffle, as well as an orange juice. We sipped our waters and mimosas, which were ok, while we people watched. It took a little bit for our food to come out, but once it did we enjoyed it. Everything was cooked well. Lucila was the only waitress at the time and she was doing a darn good job of managing all the tables. She had assistance with the bar and a food runner, but other than that she took care of everyone and everything in a pretty...
