Iron Sushi — Restaurant in Miami Beach

Horrible customer service.... So I order and have spent about over 1000 dollars without ever making a complaint there. It have never been the best sushi and they charge for sauce such as a side of spicy mayonnaise, but whatever. What I'm angry about Is the one time I did complain and tell them that they gave me the wrong order when I paid for a 65.00 order and got someone's 15.00 order. They told me to wait for a manager to call me back. Keep in mind I called the same night. I called again the next day when know one called me bacK and again nothing. Then I waited like they said for a manager to call me back and a week and half went bye. I then call after I said enough was enough and the lady passed a phone to the rubies gentleman I've ever talked to and he proceeded to say I made your food and that I should have called th e same night I then told.him I did call the same night and that he was busy and someone told me he would call me back.... Well he then said I needed to return the sushi I then said I wanted to the same night but they said don't he said he needed to speak to a manager and then hung up on me

The best part is as I continue to.call right now as we speak he is picking up the phone and hanging up......the.food here is not.good it is par for.the course. And they are now loosing me and my friends business I have spent so much money on this sushi because it is convenient. DO NOT EATING HERE IF YOU DON'T WANT TO HAVE A BAD EXPERIENCE / HORRIBLE SUSHI......EVERYTHING HERE IS PROBABLY TREATED THE WAY THEY TREATED A CUSTOMER WHO'S BEEN HERE FOR YEARS. MEANING HORRIBLE AND WITH...

Was excited to try this place since my wife has been here before...years ago!

We ordered 2 rolls and the tuna tataki, chicken teriyaki for my daughter, salmon skin roll, stramed suimai and tonkatsu ramen.

The Rolls. Too much mayo lacking flavor on all. Even the rice was under seasoned. Not the best!

Tataki, tuna seemed like it had been frozen while had no indication of a well thought of a tataki item. Its not tataki if its isn't seared or torched properly. Not flavor at all!

Salmon skin roll. Why? Yes I asked for it but why? I usually love a good crispy salmon skin roll but why chop it up and dress it with a bunch of unagi sauce? Why?

Tonkatsu Ramen. If you cannot do a proper ramen why do it? It all starts with the brother. Broth is so bland! Whether add more dashing or combo on the broth while it is cooking. The corn had more flavor. The pork tasted more mexican thank actual Japanese flavors. The cilantro killed everything!

Last but not the least, the chicken teriyaki. Mind you this is for a child. As a chef my family is my worst critique. For a child to even say no daddy. While I tried the chicken. It tasted like it had been precooked, sandbagged, and reheated back in a fryer because I could taste the used oil flavor and the chicken itself was so chewy and rubbery. No glavor! I dont even think its was seasoned at all..

Overall wise, lessoned learned! Not coming back nor will recommend this place at all. Worst $120 dollar spent ever for a...

Like my amazingly perfect angelic boyfriend said below we ordered three different types of sushi rolls JB , Volcano, And Miami Heat (vomit) Roll . The heat roll was anything but a heat roll it looked as if the chef ate a bad lunch and regurgitated on top of rice. Not the heat roll we have ordered many times before the volcano roll was not even made the way the menu states as it had completely wrong ingredients! I called and was told the order was correct and that I needed to send a picture (hmmmm what) as someone who has worked in the restaurant industry for over 10 years I can easily say I was appalled ! I did go ahead and send in the picture as I just wanted to simply fix the issue and was told I would receive a call back ... I never did... although the woman in charge of answering the phone stated she did when my lovely boyfriend called back. They insisted we got the correct items making it seem as though we where crazy... Long story short (too late) I sent in pictures called three times and never got the correct food or the incident resolved. The "volcano roll" tasted as if they smaked a bucket of mayo on some imitation crab and then threw it on top of rice ... Needless to say i threw it up myself . I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THIS PLACE AGAIN ! ILL ALSO SEE TO IT NOBODY I KNOW WASTE THIER TIME OR MONEY HERE!...
