Arriving at the Cadillac Hotel in Miami after a long flight from the west coast, I was surprised to find that my room was not ready at check-in time. However, this minor inconvenience was soon forgotten, thanks to the exceptional service provided by Galina at the Lobby Bar.

The lobby of the hotel is a very nice space, including the secluded bar area. There's space for larger groups in the long sofa and side chair areas, in addition to the dozen or so chairs at the bar. While the atmosphere was very nice, the service left a bit to be desired. We'd been told to wait a minute while the bartender bussed the small group next to us (only two groups in the bar). But then he never came over to take our drink orders and decided to help a handful of people who came in after us. Not sure what happened but we as patrons were of a different group than the ones who came in after. Regardless, after repeating my order thrice between the two bartenders, we received our drinks. The fact that this place is great is the understatement! Loida, Nick and Aysah were absolutely amazing! Despite the fact that the bar was busy they made time to make this delicious martini that my husband wanted with cucumber vodka and few other magical ingredients, and they also told us about the tiki bar that they have outside and Italian restaurant below as well. We didn’t have any food last night, but from what we saw food looked super yummy. We’ll definitely be back soon for dinner and another one of these cucumbers...
