Came here based off reviews. It’s a small storefront restaurant. Not much to expect. They are very high pricing. The service was okay. We were seated immediately. However, our food was not served until after others that were seated after us. Not really sure what happened with that. We wanted to order frozen drinks, but couldn’t because their machine was broken. We ended up ordering 2 Jarritos. Unfortunately, we missed the cost of $5 per Jarritos. The food was okay. My husband ordered chicken enchiladas with green (verde) sauce and I ordered three chicken breast tacos dinner with elotes as an appetizer for us. My husband said the enchiladas chicken meat was the texture of tuna and the chicken lacked seasoning. I thought the chicken tacos had flavor and were good. The only con was the avocados were somewhat oxygenated and the skin was left on in some spots. The meals come with white rice with a tomato cilantro topping (maybe their style of pico), which was a shocker because most Mexican restaurants add some flavor to their rice. The beans were black beans. The elotes were absolutely delicious. The lime flavor added to the corn gave it a little extra flavor. All in the experience was okay. We wouldn’t go because the prices does not match the food. The meal in total was a...
Read moreI had the worst experience I’ve ever had in Miami here. The food was awful and the drinks were mid, the staff was horrible and rude. The only thing that was good is the ceviche. I will never be back here again! The fish tacos made me sick I couldn’t even finish them and I don’t think I ever want a fish taco again! The waitress messed gave my cousin the wrong check. Instead of them telling her and giving her the correct check to pay the difference. They charged her card, issued a refund which takes 3-5 days then asked her to pay again her correct check so the total coming out of her account was around $100. When she asked to speak to a manger, Gueirmo came and was so rude. He literally put his hand in her face and said there is nothing I can do and if this continues to be an issue I can call the police. I was absolutely stunned I have never seen such disgusting service in my life. I wouldn’t recommend anyone eat here even if its free. To top it all off we came here for my friends birthday and they absolutely ruined it. Then after all the commotion they offered us free tequila shots like that was supposed to make everything better. If you absolutely have to go here just pay with cash because there is some shady business...
Read moreRead moreAlthough the staff were wonderful, it was very difficult for us to reconcile the total price we paid with the quality and quantity of food we received. The total exceeded $100 for two taco meals, one mojito, and a shrimp ceviche. Coming from NYC, we are accustomed to spending generous amounts of money on good food, and yet despite our total exceeding $100 here, we were highly disappointed. The tortillas used to make the tacos tasted as if they had come straight from the grocery store. They had not touched any heat, nor did they have any flavor. Additionally, the chicken tacos included grilled and chopped pieces of chicken which were slathered in a mayo based sauce. For the price tag ($20), I expected a far more authentic meal, like shredded chicken and a sauce/toppings more cohesive to Mexican cuisine. The rice and beans that come with the tacos are small enough to fit in dip-sized ramekins. While we actually enjoyed the ceviche, the mojito was too sweet for our liking. We came here seeking authentic Mexican tacos as “taco” is in the name, and we were disappointed by this Americanized...
