Necessary Purveyor — Restaurant in Miami Beach

Hello! My husband and I were in Miami recently celebrating our 2 year wedding anniversary. Out of everything we did, and out of all the nice places we went to eat, Necessary Purveyor was our absolute FAVORITE spot. Weeks later, we can’t stop thinking about our experience as well as the sandwiches. Especially the Green Forager. We were hesitant about eating watermelon in a sandwich at first, but I am so glad we trusted Tyler and went with it! Not only were the sandwiches AMAZING and full of flavor. Tyler took the time to talk about the different sandwiches and make recommendations based on what we liked and my husband’s dietary restriction (vegetarian). He also engaged in genuine conversation with us and recommended different spots in Miami that we could go to as well. We can’t wait to come back!! We will continue recommending this sandwich shop to all of our friends when they go to Miami!

Necessary Purveyor (@necessarypurveyor) has been on my list to visit for a while now due to their 4.9-star Google rating across 300+ reviews. I thought, 𝘦𝘩, 𝘪𝘵𝘴 𝘢 𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘤𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘭𝘴 𝘴𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘸𝘪𝘤𝘩𝘦𝘴, 𝘩𝘰𝘸 𝘨𝘰𝘰𝘥 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘣𝘦? I was hooked after the first bite 😲.

Crunchy bread yet with the right amount of softness, thick turkey slices, melty cheddar cheese, ripe avocado slices, light chipotle aioli... it all played a role in delivering the tastiest sandwich I've had in a while! The prices are pretty high, but I was incredibly full with just half of a sandwich and had to save the rest for later. 🤷🏻‍♀️ something to consider .

The best part, they have so many interesting and unique combinations of flavors on their menu. I can go back again and again, and I know I won't get bored. Can't wait to check more off the list!

Superb quality ingredients! High end flavor for truly fair prices. They are now online! Tyler the chef delivered our order outside as we drove by to pick up. Hen of the woods mushroom sandwich, mozzarella di bufala (I told you high quality) watercress and fennel salad 🥗, and the unique fabulous avocado pizza! The look and presentation of this pizza is as divine as the taste. A sublime mélange of flavors!! Super beyond thin crust with a light schmear of beet hummos, perfectly sliced thin Haas avocado slices, a sprinkling of razor thin fresh fennel, a pile of tabouli in the middle, and sliced jalapeños for a spicey picante kick. All stylishly topped off with palm tree shaped watermelon 🍉slices. Wow! A perfect poolside picnic for my birthday in quarantine. Couldn’t have been more delicious! Can’t wait to...
