A Must-Visit in Miami Beach - PineCrest Café
If you're on Alton road and 15 St looking for an authentic taste of Cuban-American culture with a delightful twist, PineCrest Café is the place to be. From the moment I walked in, the ambiance was inviting, with a spacious and cozy setup that makes you feel right at home, whether you're there for a quick bite or a leisurely tea session.
I decided to explore their extensive tea collection, which did not disappoint. Each sip was an experience in itself, perfectly complementing the vibrant atmosphere of the café. But the real stars of the menu are the empanadas and Cuban crackers - an array so vast and delicious, you'll want to try them all. From savory to sweet, each bite was a testament to the culinary expertise behind the scenes.
Now I have another cool spot on SB besides Atelier Monnier, the French Bakery for super croissant and French authentic quiches or for the amazingly priced wines.
What's more, PineCrest Café caters to all times of the day with its 24-hour service. Whether it's a midnight craving for their famous cakes by the slice or a morning coffee with some freshly squeezed juice, they've got you covered. They offer a wide variety of beverages, including beers and sodas, ensuring there's something for everyone.
The service at PineCrest Café truly stands out, thanks to Jennifer and her co-worker. Their dedication to customer satisfaction is evident in their warm smiles, attentive service, and genuine care in making every visitor feel special. Jennifer's knowledge about the menu and her recommendations made my experience even more enjoyable. Their efficiency with orders, whether you're dining in or opting for delivery through Uber Eats, GrubHub, Postmates, or DoorDash, is commendable.
If you're planning a birthday celebration or just want a slice of cake to brighten your day, PineCrest Café has an impressive selection of cakes that are not only visually appealing but also delicious.
In conclusion, PineCrest Café on Alton combines great food, a warm ambiance, and exceptional service. It's a must-visit for anyone looking to indulge in Cuban-American flavors and more with a touch of local charm. Thank you, Jennifer and team, for an...
Read moreThe family had just arrived from Dallas and drove into South Beach. Having never been here be aware that the drivers speed and are not courteous. Scary when you have a family surrounded by rude drivers and your beholden to Google Maps for directions. The family was starving and we were happy that our one year old hadn't mutated into a Zombie screeching for food. Looking at the area, you know youre gonna drop some cash eating. Arriving late we just pulled into a strip mall since parking was at a premium with all the Ferraris and Lamborghinis going up and down. The parking lot is small and not good for large vehicles. The Cafe brought images of burgers and sandwiches yet it was more guided to regional hispanic sandwiches. As you see in other reviews , the ladies were semi positive yet for sure could have been nicer. We asked questions and placed order yet that wasn't a success. The phily cheesecake was good and had flavor. The portion of meat kind of low. The Monte Cristo wasn't dipped in oil as we are accustomed but it was ok. I had the empanadas that were lacking in flavor. The other comments are true dealing with the deserts all were good just 4 leches way too sweet. At the end, the ladies began to be more positive. The meals was approximately $60 with tip. I wouldn't make it a top choice but if you have to...
