Let me start off by saying this: It takes a lot for me to give a restaurant 3-stars or less. I usually give a restaurant a second chance to redeem themselves.
Point deducted #1: The restaurant isn't very big, but they have a lot of staff. Here's the interesting part... the service is incredibly slow, and very inefficient. I'm not talking about slow as in how long it takes your food to come out, that's actually acceptable. I'm talking slow as in the ability to get the attention of a server or the courtesy of coming by the table to check up on you. It's so slow that we were finally ready to pay our bill and the coffee topper came by for the first time.
Point deducted #2: The communal seating section is horrible. They try to cram as many spots at the long table as they can fit. It felt like a can of sardines. I couldn't cut my eggs Benny properly without bumping my elbows on the patrons face next to me. If you ever have to leave the table for a washroom break forget pivoting on your chair, cause you're basically knee to knee with the next guest. You'll have to limbo your way under the table.
Point deducted #3: After all this, they automatically add 18% gratitudities to the bill. This is a party of two, NOT 8. How dare they assume they provided the best service to be worthy of an 18% tip. Maybe that's why the service is terrible, cause they know they're getting 18% regardless and not working for it. That's my theory.
The food was just ok. The Hollandaise sauce on the eggs benny lacked flavor and texture. The "Canadian Bacon" was chewy (it was ham, not peameal bacon). Maybe the taste lost its quality cause of the experience. Or maybe it was: just ok. The presentation was...

Which this restaurant is in the middle of the Boulan hotel and the south beach. Upon arriving for breakfast. Myself and my guest were dressed in swim wear attire with mesh tops on. Not even fully exposed. While waiting to be seated In front of everyone, a server then comes over and says we can’t be seated nor served because we are not in proper attire and are exposed. Not to mention I am pregnant.
I’m sorry; where are the rules or signs stating when coming to eat we need to be fully covered? And then you have the audacity to say that in front of people turning us away. Why even offer complimentary breakfast to the hotels if your creating your own rules? Now after being turned away; you can spot two women seated in bathing suits one in a two piece with white shorts on and another in a black one piece which is see through on certain parts, with Jean shorts on. And they are also with a third woman, who is as well in a see through mesh as our selves with a two piece on. I mean I’m sorry, are they not exposed themselves? Is that proper attire because they have shorts? You have no signs indicating when eating at this restaurant which isn’t even a high profile 5 star restaurant; you must be dressed properly. The audacity. They can take their complimentary breakfast along with brunch and dinner, and keep it. Money is green and the fact they had the audacity to embarrass guest as myself is a problem.
In the bottom there goes the woman with the bathing suit, well one of them. Whether a two piece or a one piece, if the rules apply to one; then they...

When you first walk-in you enter a super cute dining area and we thought it looked great. However, the very kind host offered us outdoor seating, which we didn't even realize was an option! We followed him through the dining area, down a little passageway, and entered a gorgeous courtyard space.
We had an absolutely delightful meal. The food was fresh, tasty, and prepared perfectly. The Belgian waffles have an innate sweetness and I didn't even need to use the provided syrup. The Eggs Benedict with smoked salmon are fantastic, the smoky saltiness of the salmon with the creamy yolk from the perfectly poached eggs made for a luxurious breakfast.
And I have to absolutely rave about the coffee Orange Blossom serves. They use amazing coffee beans and they serve their coffee with small glass carafes of heavy whipping cream, which is an incredible touch and makes for a heavenly way to start your day.
And the staff was very attentive without being overbearing and they were incredibly sweet to my 19-month-old daughter.
Despite it being my first time in Miami, and wanting to explore as much as possible, we dined at Orange Blossom for breakfast every day of our trip, and made an effort to bring work colleagues along with us so they could...
