5 Stars – I’d Move Into This Pura Vida If They Let Me

Living at the Flamingo Apartments has its perks, but having this Pura Vida downstairs is basically a cheat code for happiness. I’ve been to plenty of Pura Vidas around Miami — some good, some meh — but this one? Next level. Service here is so consistently amazing, you half-expect someone to hand you a robe and call you “sir” like it’s the Ritz.

Sure, I could make my own lattes and bowls at home (I have opposable thumbs and everything), but I keep coming back because it actually feels like home — minus the dishes.

Massive shoutout to Guada, Gabi, and Elvis, who run this place with enough kindness and style to make you forget you live in a city where people honk at red lights.

If they ever start offering mail service and gym memberships, I’m canceling my lease...

I’ve been a regular at Pura Vida, but lately, my visits have left me disappointed. The food consistently falls short of expectations, and it’s disheartening to see a place I once enjoyed now consistently miss the mark.

One of the most disappointing aspects is the overpowering scent of perfume that permeates the restaurant. It’s anything but “Pura Vida” when you’re hit with an intoxicating fragrance instead of the aroma of delicious food.

I come to Pura Vida to savor the flavors and atmosphere, not to be overwhelmed by artificial scents. It’s time for the restaurant to focus on what truly matters: delivering an authentic experience that delights the senses in all the right ways. Until then, I’ll have to look elsewhere for my taste...
