Good morning everyone I go around doing reviews on hotels Let me start off by mentioning names. They have management positions that are all disrespectful, disgraceful, and very unpleasant the director and head of security. Mr. Peterson I thought was a wonderful person He’s not. the manager female with curly hair older individual Is the rudest person there is And accommodations is a negative. The only individual who is pleasant. Here is the bell man bullheaded gentleman, Latin Samuel or Somo not quite sure of his name, but he was charming all the way he should be the one running this place with his hospitality now let me begin by saying we did not book third-party. We booked it right at the desk and the only reason we came here is to celebrate our 45th Airbnb location The first suite we went to had hair on the walls algae all over the bath and things were just horrible in that room. They upgraded the room to what seemed to be a pleasant room. My wife’s Dior bags were sitting next to the refrigerator when everything in the refrigerator exploded and was leaking out while we were out partying. I asked three times for them to come clean it up. They did and continue to leak ruining a $2000 bag in the swimming area. A security guard by the name of Tony is the rudest there is he was more concerned about me lighting a cigarette rather than the individuals who were taking over the pool cussing and making it uncomfortable for children and myself while also smoking marijuana in the pool area, but yet more concerned about me lighting a cigarette in my corner I only booked this place without using Expedia or Travelocity so that I could get the promotion that I’m aware of which is three nights paid and the fourth night on us unfortunately I have reviewed my bank statement this morning And it seems like they charge for all four days when I brought this to the attention First, I had a security, Mr. Peterson, who said he would call the director managerthat very same elderly female manager with the curly hair very rude or the director manager basically refused to comply with their promotion and we asked either return the money for that day or give us till the following day. Both were in refusal rather than arguing. I made my way back to the elevator, but I did have one more question as I returned, she was saying the nerve of these people it’s there in black-and-white And Mr. Peterson was also conversing negatively about us. I pulled up behind him, and I made him aware that next time you want to speak about customers, people in your position, should’ve took this conversation to the back room rather than the customers capability of walking up behind you, and feeling disrespected, not only by the director of manager with the curly hair, but also by the head of security, who I thought was actually a decent individual we were here to celebrate, and instead it feels like the biggest sorrow of my life and disappointment of my city Miami plus my wife still wants me to buy her two new Dior purses because of the refrigerator explosion incident. I hope this review makes it clear that the only thing you’re paying for is the view you are not paying for service care or concern or honesty this hotel has fallen it is overrated and I can guarantee you. I do reviews all over the world and this is my worst one yet. Do not come here unless you are purchasing it third-party and you are getting every discount possible otherwise go somewhere else because as far as food, attendance care, concerned Anyone with a higher up title needs to be disband And all those that take pride in their menial jobs should be promoted because those are the ones that are actually Doing their best and quite frankly, I can speak for 11 Current individual staying here that that bellman who’s Latino ball headed and very charming and even pours, your champagne should be the individual actually running the entire hotel with his compassion, consideration and concern for the customers experience. I am currently doing this review while I’m still here inside room 824...

An absolute nightmare! It was a shocking and disgusting experience from start to finish. The room was beyond filthy, infested with bed bugs and covered in stains on the couch and sticky surfaces. There was dead bugs and stains in the bed. When we called for room service to request a room change, they sent an elderly man who didn't even speak English to clean the room. We politely declined his services as we were moving rooms, the hotel worker who came to assist us had the rudest and most shocking reaction we have ever experienced. Instead of apologizing for the appalling state of the room, the hotel worker simply handed us a new key card for another room and told us to deal with the cleaner ourselves. We moved into the new room only to find out that it wasn't a suite and didn't have a desk, despite us specifically booking a suite as we needed to work. When we went downstairs to request a room with adequate work space, the front desk attendant couldn't even be bothered to look at us or react to the terrible conditions we had experienced in the previous room. We asked to speak to a manager, and initially, we were told that no one was available. However, to our surprise, the same hotel worker who had previously brushed us off suddenly appeared from around the corner. He then asked us what we wanted in a dismissive and annoyed tone, as if we were inconveniencing him by expressing our concerns. The complete lack of professionalism and customer service was appalling. Upon moving to another room, we were horrified to find dirt and stains everywhere, including mold or grime seeping out of the bathroom wall. As if that wasn't enough, the room across the hall was hosting a rave, causing vibrations throughout the entire floor at 3am on a Tuesday. We didn't feel safe at all, not just because of the condition of the room, but also due to the disrespectful and dismissive treatment we received from the staff. As three girls, we were scared to confront the two angry men at the front desk to check out, so we even considered calling the police to escort us out. We ordered an Uber and had the driver wait while we spoke to the front desk. We informed them that we were leaving and refused to pay for our stay, as we didn't even stay the first night. They reluctantly agreed to comp the first night, but couldn't promise a refund for the next two nights without the manager's approval. When we asked to speak to the manager, they claimed he was unavailable, but lo and behold, we later received an email from the guy, and his email signature said "MANAGER." They straight-up lied to our faces The next day, when we called Expedia to get a refund, they told us that we weren't able to get the first night comped because we had supposedly stayed the night. They even lied to Expedia and said we left at 7am in the morning, when we actually left at 3:30am as proven by our email receipt and Uber receipt. When we called the hotel again to demand a refund, the lady on the phone told us to send her photos for proof, we had already sent them before. She said the manager was unavailable, as if a hotel doesn't have a single manager on duty for 24 hours! We had to threaten to call the police before they finally refunded in full. I have never in my life experienced such a despicable and repugnant level of treatment. It felt like a sickening social experiment where the workers lacked any semblance of empathy or emotion. I would have slept better in a filthy alley behind a dumpster. I will never, ever subject myself to staying at this atrocious hotel again, even if I were paid thousands of dollars. I am committed to spreading the word far and wide to keep people away from this establishment, as I believe it poses a serious threat to public safety and security. Stepping within a 2-foot radius of this property is akin to risking a 99% chance of contracting a disease. This experience has left me utterly appalled and disgusted, and I will make it my mission to warn others about the horrors that await at the...

My stay at the Hotel Mondrian in Miami South Beach was an absolute nightmare. I can't even begin to describe the level of disappointment I felt during my time at this so-called "luxury" establishment. It's hard to believe that a hotel with such a high price tag could be so unbelievably run-down and dilapidated. Let's start with the linens, or should I say, the stained linens. It was clear that they hadn't been replaced or properly laundered. The sheets were discolored, and I shuddered to think about what kind of bodily fluids were responsible for those unsightly stains. There was blood in the bathroom in one room. No art on the walls, and the rooms bare bones with broken Ikea furniture. The entire room reeked of neglect, and it was a challenge to even summon the courage to touch anything. The couches were filthy, and I wouldn't dare sit on them without some kind of protective barrier. It's as if the cleaning staff had gone on strike, leaving behind a layer of grime that made me question the hotel's commitment to cleanliness. There was dust and debris in every room. When I did see housekeeping, they did not have full-service carts. They had totes with spray bottles. I entered the room while they were inside "cleaning" the bathroom, but the shower was not even used to clean. There were water stains on the glass, and calcium build up on the tiles in the bathroom. Cracked floor tiles in rooms. To top it all off, the customer service was abysmal. The staff was unresponsive and unhelpful. They seemed completely disinterested in addressing the myriad issues with the room. It was as if they knew the place was a disaster and had given up. When we went to the front desk to address our concerns the agent was immediately dismissive. She told us we could get our resort fee comped or get our money back and leave! We could not help but to think that her attitude and dismissiveness were in part due to the fact that we were a group of black women. We addressed her with poise and concern however, she was curt and short-sided. When we asked to speak to the manager she told us she was the manager, however, 3o minutes later we spoke to the actual manager. Unfortunately, due to a very planned itinerary, we could not leave the property and we were forced to endure. While the lobby and pool area might have had a veneer of luxury, the rooms were nothing short of a disaster. This was by far the worst hotel experience I have ever had anywhere in the world. I wouldn't wish a stay at the Hotel Mondrian on my worst enemy. It was a complete waste of money, and I would strongly advise anyone considering staying there to look elsewhere for a more pleasant and functional lodging experience. The manager had to give us a tour of the facilities just to find a few suites that were marginally decent. We had originally planned for spacious two-bedroom suites to accommodate our group, but the deplorable conditions of the hotel forced us to share beds. It's disheartening to spend so much and not receive the accommodation we had paid for. I am still in shock. Those of us who downgraded rooms were given the downgraded pricing but honestly, that is still TOO much money for the conditions of the property. I cannot express enough how run down this place was. I could not believe my eyes. Though the manager was hospitable I felt she lacked the care and concern. It was as if she knew that the hotel was simply not up to par and that there was nothing that could be done. However, I do believe we could have been more graciously accommodated in terms of the cost. The pricing for this property is unfathomable given the accommodations. Amid this disaster, there was one saving grace, and that was Charlie the Concierge. She was an absolute peach and tried her best to assist us during our stay. Unfortunately, her genuine efforts were overshadowed by the hotel's glaring issues. Sander the bellman was also kind and helpful. Without those two there would be nothing positive to share about...
