Rosinella — Restaurant in Miami Beach

Overall: would not go back because of bad service and food that was mediocre details below if interested (I rarely write reviews with this rating and I feel I am fair in my feedback)

Positive things:

1. hostess - was very friendly and not pushy when considering if we wanted to dine there
2. smoothie - was fresh and tasty
3. the outside seating was pretty and nice for a meal out on Lincoln Road
4. some other tables had better service than ours with other servers so you may also get lucky and have a better dining experience 🤷🏽‍♂️

Negative things:

1. attention to tables - unfortunately it was very unpleasant… After being seated, we waited 15 minutes (was watching my clock because of parking) before someone came up to us to see if we were okay. It then took another 20 minutes to get waters and to finally meet our waiter. That was the last time we spoke to him until asking for the check. It was hard to tell if he was busy or not because at times I saw him delivering food to other tables and at other moments, for example, talking to a pedestrian walking by for maybe 5+ minutes. But if he was too busy, then the rest of his team should have helped to care for his tables. The most frustrating thing about that was that on average three employees were standing by the host/hostess booth at any given time while we were looking around waiting for service. I had to go up mid meal to ask for water (never was brought or asked if I wanted or needed more).
2. food was pricey. Had two drinks (one being a smoothie) and a Caesar salad and a basic margarita pizza (with no tomatoes and one basil leaf in the middle…). Frankly, while eating the pizza I wished I was eating a Costco cheese pizza instead and a salad I made at home with chopped lettuce and store bought Caesar salad dressing. Both food dishes were “meh” and I wish we didn’t spend our last dinner there - let alone so much money.
3. both times in Miami South Beach that a waiter/waitress didn’t come in the first 10 minutes of being seated turned out to be awful experiences. I partially blame myself for staying and giving them a 20% automatically charged tip. If I were given the choice, my typical 15-20% tip would...

My husband and I for business and vacation, enjoy travel, and love the fine cuisine. Our experience in a multicultural environments, gave us the blessing and great opportunity to appreciate and recognize the excellent service, hard work, dedication, history and exquisite dishes at the beautiful Rosinella Italian restaurant.

The Rosinella restaurant from the owners to their staff, every one all are amazing, they care for their customers and always provide the best experience and in class service.

All the food at Rosinella restaurant is home made and use fresh and natural ingredients. There is no preservatives.

My husband love pasta, and the speciality of the day spaghetti with meat balls, I love the pizza funghi (mushrooms) , in addition to their spectacular menu, seafood rissotto, clams linguine another of my favorites, veal chop Milanese, lasagna di carne, the coffee, drinks, authentic lemoncello, cosmopolitan, deserts tiramisu, cheesecake, cannolis, etc., are truly exquisite. Every dish is cook with love and care and the highest quality of ingredients, as Rosinella restaurant always strive to provide excellence in their cuisine, environment and service.

We have been customers of this amazing and wonderful restaurant for over 15 years, thank you Rosinella for your excellent food, ambience and service. Thank you for your efforts and dedication, they are profoundly appreciate it.

Decided to try this restaurant for dinner last night and I won’t be back. First of all I was with my 4 year old daughter so I asked the waiter if there’s any non alcoholic beverages other than soda even if it’s from the machine gun cause I can’t give soda to a 4 year old at that time. He said no so I decided to order a virgen pina colada for her and a regular one for myself. Waiter comes back to my table to tell me there’s no pina colada but he will bring a “martini pina colada” I said okay. He brought out the normal virgin pina colada then the “martini” which I found odd cause he said there’s no pina colada. It tasted bad too so I didn’t drink it and just changed it for a soda. I also saw another waiter bringing a lemonade to their table when mine told me there wasn’t any juice for my daughter, he didn’t even offer a glass of water either. I’m not sure if he was trying to up sell alcohol but I’m with a child.Then the food comes.. ordered a spaghetti w meatball, chicken Alfredo, and fried calamari. The pasta was a little hard and tasteless.. we couldn’t finish it. Then asked for the bill and asked our waiter if they offer local discounts for Miami Beach residents/ people who work on Lincoln rd he said no which I know places do offer that if a customer asks so I just got my bill, paid, and left. I didn’t feel like arguing . I’m a waitress myself and I know filling out the additional tip line helps a lot cause it’s not all for the waiter and I’m very understanding in situations but the service wasn’t good. I...
