I am very disgusted by my experience today. My friend and I spent over $300 to attend an event. While the experience started off well, I had gone to the bar and ordered some fries, totalling $17 usd after tip. The bartender told me to return in 20 minutes for my order. When I had returned, there was a rope barrier surrounding the bar, and I therefore explained to the bouncer that I was attempting to pick up my order, understanding that due to there being an event in place, staff may need to bring out my order, or I may need to wait. The bouncer immediately got aggressive towards me, called me “slow” and “stupid” among other names, spit in my face and physically backed me up. When I then asked for a refund, I was continued to be called names. When my friend then approached the bouncer and asked for my item or a refund, he continuously brushed her off before telling her she was being kicked out. Immediately, another staff member began pushing us out and yelling at us. When I calmly explained we would gladly leave after I was refunded for my item, he told me he did not know what I was talking about, and put his hands on both my friend and I. After finding a manager to speak with, I was told that due to there being two sides to the story, we would still be removed from the event without compensation. After once again explaining that we intended to leave regardless and simply wanted our refund, she took my information to the bar. In her absence, the bouncer came around the corner and began to yell at my friend and I, calling us names once again, telling me I needed to go to the the gym, that my friend required plastic surgery, and other inappropriate and disturbing comments. When the manager had returned and I told her about this incident, which other staff members had witnessed, I was once again told that the issue would have to be reviewed. I left without a refund, which, I was told will be dealt with tomorrow. That said, while I was removed from the event for simply asking for my item or refund, the bouncers, who got physical and aggressive with both my friend and I, continued to work the rest of their shift, and were allowed the opportunity to approach us once again, as the rest of the staff members stood and watched. The entire experience was very unprofessional and disappointing. Having worked in bars, I understand the frustration when customers become disrespectful and entitled, though I also recognize when bouncers develop an ego and abuse their authority, and this was a case of the later. Overall I am very disappointed that this type of physical aggression is being defended and condoned and would recommend spending your time/money at a more responsible...

FOOD: When you get to such place unintentionally the food expectations becomes high, but unfortunately I can’t recommend anyone here if they are looking for authentic and tasteful food. Mezes are ok, spicy feta and beetroot & watermelon salad were delicious. We ordered chicken kabab, it was burned and inside was very dry. Either they forgot on the grill and nevermind serving as is or that is how they cook. Also Pide (they call Turkish pizza) was something I can’t describe. First of all there is no Turkish pizza in Turkish cuisine, it is called Pide where dough and ingredients are different than pizza. If they recreate a pizza influenced from Pide then it is even worse, I can guarantee that Domino’s pizza is much more tasteful than this. I did not understand what they served and what we ate for that Pide/pizza thing. Last but not least, we ordered red wine and they served ice cold. When told to waiter they should not cool the red wine that much they say this is how they serve here. Just with one word, unbelievable when sitting in such beautiful restaurant you got ice cold red wine???? There are other bits and pieces to add but I guess all above are enough amount of review for the food side.
SERVICE: personnel were in good intentions but I believe they need serious and more trainings. If they can’t notice the food they serve burned and they don’t know red wine shouldn’t be ice cold served ever never then I believe this is management’s mistake.
-PLAYLIST: the atmosphere definitely requires cosy lounge type music, can be jazz, soul, bossa nova, easy listening covers or so. Again, in such beautiful atmosphere they were playing cheap disco hits, guys come on this is not a fast food place, you should make your guests comfortable with the background music too.
Overall the money you spend here only for design and decoration, there are much tasty places that worth to...
Read moreI don’t leave bad reviews but I want to warn people on the experience they may have here. This restaurant is treated like it’s a Miami nightclub, and if you aren’t ordering big bottles you might get ignored.
There were red flags from the start...our reservation wasn’t ready and we were seated in a crowded inside area before requesting outside more distanced seating.
We asked for sparkling water and was brought a very small amount of that. No bottle was left at the table.
Our small party of 2 didn’t even make it to ordering a main course. We were seated outside and waited OVER AN HOUR for 2 non-alcoholic drinks and ONE side before walking inside to tell a hostess and learning that the kitchen had closed??? Closed before our order even comes out????
It was sad at this point that we had to advocate just to get any solution.
They brought us the side after speaking with management, asking if we want anything else Bc the kitchen was closing...all we ended up having for dinner were three small plates which was not the dinner plan.
The waitress neglected us until we talked with management, choosing instead to have a lengthy conversation with two business guys ordering champagne as the other waitress looked on listlessly, ignoring our waves of attention for service.
To top it off, by the time we arrived home both of our stomachs were very upset...so we left with terrible service AND food poisoning.
As a couple who fine dines from Malibu to Mexico....this experience was horrible. I really wanted to enjoy this place but it’s too much hype for the poor experience.
Pharrell....thanks for the soundtrack and library but this...
