I've never been a person to complain much less to post a bad review, but today it has crossed the line. First that the hostess looked at me with an ugly face for having arrived 20 min early from the reservation, and the restaurant was empty. I will not complain about the server because she gave a wonderful service, but at the time of paying the bill we were charged 5 times. I showed the bank stratus to her by saying that I was charged 5 times and she immediately called the manager. The manager came to our table after 30 minutes wait. The manager arrived with a nervous face and in no moment he introduced himself. He arrived at the table talking in Portuguese and only showed his message with the corporation saying how to make the refund. The manager began to say that the system is new and he does not know how to avoid or refund the money, and that is why he was contacting the corporation. I asked him if he could get into some system to avoid the payment and he started saying that he does not know how to explain in English and asked us with the greatest arrogance if we speak English. I do not know if discrimination is the right word, but my dad and I were furious after this question. After that, the manager disappeared without giving us any response and after 20 minutes he returned to the table saying that he is still waiting for the corporation's response on how to refund my money. I told him that I had to leave. We were left disappointed and with no explanation of how to return my money and without any apology from the manager. He handed us his business card telling us to call him back to find out how to return our money. As soon as he handed us his business card, we ended up discovering that he is the general manager of the restaurant. I was shocked by the general manager's lack of professionalism about not knowing how to deal with customers and not knowing how the "new" payment system works. Me and my family will never return to this place. We stop arguing and complaining to this manager about due respect to other customers. The total amount was $ 248.75 + 41.08, total of $ 289.83 and we ended up paying in the total of $ 289.83x5 = $ 1,449.15. We went home without knowing if we'll get the money back. Horrible...

Food was absolutely delicious and the butchers that walked around did a great job. What caused my unpleasant experience was first that we reserve a table a day before and when we got there they had not reserved our table and we had to wait even though we made a reservation. Next when I sat down our server knew no English so made the entire experience awkward and minimal in-terms of providing a fine dinning experience. The air condition was barely working next to the windows so we were very hot. And on top of that, we had to pay for a bill at the bar once we were done like if we were at First Watch instead of a expensive steak house with the server looking down our shoulders to guilt us to provide a tip they didn’t deserve. We didn’t get desert and our bill was $140+ for two people(which is not a problem but only state this to demonstrate what they are charging for what quality should have been provided with that cost). We never got our cups refilled with water as well. I have been to the Texas Brazil in Dolphin Mall and had a wonderful time. Our server was very attentive and made us feel comfortable and made us feel like we were at a fine dinning restaurant as the Texas de Brazil brand is known for. I considered bringing clients here but after today I would never embarrass myself by doing that. Not to mention when my girlfriend went to the bathroom she told me there was mold there. I love this place, environment and food is amazingly great. BUT when it comes to the bill, please make sure you check the customized items one by one. I have been two times this week (Saturday night to the one in Alton Rd) and today (Tuesday to the one in Dolphin mall) and unfortunately both times I had issues to address with the bill. I went with my fiance and their friends (a couple and a child) only for light dinner-salad bar (no meat) and they overcharged us like if we were eating regular dinner. I realized it on Monday morning and I called to speak to the supervisor, she said she was too busy but she would call me later. Tuesday, I called again and finally said that they will refund one light dinner plus taxes when I asked her to explain in details, she refused to explained, very dissapointed... after trying to get the words from her mouth, she said it was a human mistake and did not even apologize. Then this same Tuesday, I went for lunch with my fiance and my mother for light lunch-salad bar (no meat) again the same issue, they charged again but this time it was very interesting....light lunch is $19.99, but they charged $26.99. I asked them why ? they immediately asked like 5 times if we had ate meat, we said NO, then I told them lunch price with meat is $29.99 not $26.99....why the discrepancy??? they did not have an answer for that...waitress never show up again to the table, then a lady came over to bring a new corrected statement. I highly recommend to check your bill before you pay, because I can understand we as humans make mistakes, but what a casualty in the same week it happened the same exact mistake...
