Dining at Deliah's Miami is not just a meal; it’s a delightful experience that tantalizes the senses and leaves a lasting impression. From the moment you step through the doors, you are greeted with an inviting ambiance that effortlessly blends contemporary design with timeless elegance. The soft, warm lighting and tasteful décor create a sophisticated yet welcoming setting, perfect for an unforgettable evening.
Our server, Alexandra, deserves special mention for her exceptional service. Her warm demeanor and attentive nature made us feel valued and welcome throughout our visit. She guided us through the menu with knowledgeable insights and personal recommendations that were spot on.
We began our culinary journey with a refreshing iceberg wedge, crispy pigs in a blanket, and a beautifully presented tuna tartare. Each dish was a delight in its own right, showcasing fresh ingredients and creative flavors that perfectly set the tone for the evening ahead. The iceberg wedge was crisp and cool, topped with a flavorful dressing that complemented its simplicity. The pigs in a blanket were a playful yet sophisticated take on a classic, delivering a savory bite that disappeared far too quickly. The tuna tartare dazzled us with its vibrant colors and exquisite taste, highlighting the chef’s attention to detail and finesse.
As our meal progressed, we were treated to the filet mignon, which truly lived up to its reputation. Cooked to perfection, each bite was a tender morsel that melted in our mouths, showcasing the kitchen's mastery of flavor and technique. Accompanying this exquisite dish was the carrot soufflé—a revelation for the palate. This stunning creation is an experience in itself, delivering a light, fluffy texture and a sweetness that was surprising yet utterly delightful.
No meal is complete without the perfect drink, and the selection at Deliah's Miami did not disappoint. Each cocktail we tried was expertly crafted, enhancing the dining experience by perfectly complementing our meals.
Additionally, we couldn’t resist indulging in the twice-baked potatoes. Rich and decadent, they are undoubtedly worth the diet cheat. The creamy filling and perfectly crisp exterior make this dish a must-try, leaving one craving more.
In conclusion, our evening at Deliah's Miami was nothing short of extraordinary. Between Alexandra’s impeccable service, the delightful starters, mouthwatering filet mignon, the inspiring carrot soufflé, exquisite beverages, and the indulgent twice-baked potatoes, it was a feast that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a memorable...
Read moreFood: everything was excellent and well executed, came out quickly. Apps and sides will run for about $25-30 each which is definitely pricey but you pay for the environment and the fact they have a person to do every little thing for you, including someone to open the bathroom door and turn on the sink for you 🤷♀️
Service: This is where the restaurant really came up short. I don’t recall my server’s name but the meal felt very rushed, basically to the point of us not feeling welcomed. For example, consistently trying to clear our plates while we were still eating. This seems to be on par with other reviews. I do believe this is a celebrity hot spot hence the no photos rule, which is fine, (but they’re also very militaristic about it which is funny considering most places in Miami are celebrity hot spots, the night we went was pretty empty, and quite frankly there wasn’t anything going on lol). Regardless, non-celebrity money pays all the same for martinis, steaks, and foie gras, but it’s very clear that they don’t treat everyone with respect.
My friend had also told me he was disappointed by how he mentioned THREE times (once on the booking, another to the hostess, another to the server) that we were there celebrating my birthday and he’d want our dessert to come out with a candle. It didn’t, and when he asked the server “I thought this was coming with a candle?” our server literally laughed in our face and walked away. We actually thought the server was going to go and get one, but he never did. This was extremely off-putting and uncomfortable.
Overall, the hostesses are all very sweet but the service that night really made me never want to come back. For the price point, the bagillion people that work there, and the fact that tip is automatically included, Groot really needs to be doing better.
Atmosphere: restaurant is beautiful and they have live music with a singer, then a DJ comes up around 10 and environment turns into a cocktail lounge vibe. Interior similar to if Carbone Miami had a baby with Mila lounge. Except we would rather go to either of those places lol.
Overall, there are plenty of other beautiful places with live music in Miami at a similar price point that will treat you much better and be much...
Read moreDelilah as most of the other reviews have gushed about is a stunning atmosphere reminiscent of classic upscale cabarets of the past. We are locals and love it but be prepared to pay for it. We came for the annual Miami Spice menu ( $60 per person) and it did not disappoint ( except for one item). Unlike most other upscale restaurants who skimp on their portions Delilahs were full, delicious and high quality. Course 1 * we chose the Chicken Fingers and the Wedge Salad. Both were full portions and we shared. Chicken was excellent with a wonderful crispy batter. The blue cheese dressing on the Salad was generous and really good. Course 2 * the Branzino was a beautiful butterflied filet , excellent. The Filet Mignon was a $20 upcharge...and while it was perfect, it was small. WARNING-- DANGER WILL ROBINSON !!! The entrees do NOT come with a side. However, the server will offer you one. I chose to get FRIES with my filet. SURPRISE---- $18 for substandard crappy Fries. a HAPPY MEAL has better fires and for $2. The desserts were Fabulous. So other than the fry fiasco....We'll definitely be back. Tatiana was an excellent server. I grew up in the business and this was the most efficient "busing" crew. Tables were cleared and cleaned wonderfully. The little details count. Good job Ralph and others. Drinks were Miami prices and that drove the bill up. I expected that along with slightly " short" wine pours...so no complaints. This is a Sophisticated place and we love it...and I ask Management to consider a stricter Dress Code. The ladies ALL looked fantastic. I hate the Men's Miami "Tee Shirt Mafia"( some guys looked like they rolled out of bed...horrible) and I request you consider SHIRTS WITH COLLARS ONLY. Also be aware of the 20% meal service charge and the 4% Entertainment charge. BOTH JUSTIFIED. The entertainment is first class and we get too many cheap Canadians, Europeans and South Americans that don't know how to tip. The service is superb and they...
