Do Not Go Here!!! They’ll Break Your Equipment and Blame You!!!

I had an extremely frustrating experience with PC Rescue. About a month ago, I took my custom-built PC to them because it wouldn’t boot. They ‘fixed’ it, calling it a wiring issue, but the exact same problem came back a few weeks later. When I returned, they suddenly claimed it was a short circuit and pointed to a bent pin on the motherboard.

Here’s the thing my PC wasn’t working before I brought it to them, but that bent pin was not originally the issue. It happened under their watch. Micro Center, just down the road, confirmed that this bent pin issue likely happened during PC Rescue’s initial handling, due to the fact a pin doesn’t just bend somebody bent it and as PC Rescue are the only ones who have operated on my PC since the day I got it (2 Years Ago) it is safe to say that they’re the ones who have caused this. So not only did they fail to fix the original problem properly, they also damaged a component and then tried to blame me for it.

To add insult to injury, they charged a $150 diagnostic fee for a less thorough job than what Micro Center does for $80. When I confronted them, they refused to take any responsibility and basically told me to go ahead and leave a negative review.

In short, they were careless, overcharged for poor service, and didn’t own up to their mistakes. If you want competent and honest help, go to Micro Center on 7795 W Flagler St, Miami, FL. It’s 10 minutes away and half the price.

Jason was great. I'm pretty pc literate but had a non modular psu that blew and needed to be replaced and rewired - beyond my desire to YouTube/slog through. He came to my home after I ordered the part, diagnosed that there were no additional component malfunctions, and cleanly replaced and rewired the new psu. Even cleaned out some of the dust bunnies in my pc case. Pricing was very reasonable and he let me know upfront what the total would be assuming there were no further diagnosis issues.
