Happea's Mediterranean Grill — Restaurant in Miami

Found this little eatary after shopping at the Brickell city ctr on a Monday afternoon. The manager/server was very friendly and informative about how to use their electronic ordering system and the details on options for our order. Its a completely self order, self-serve and eat at one of the tables inside or on veranda type rstu. We opted for the 2 dishes that he recommended, beef kebab Platter and shredded beef Platter. We were expecting a delicious medditerrian meal based on the online reviews for this rstu, unfortunately the food that we received was anything but, very disappointing. The shredded beef Platter was the better of the 2, the beef kebab was half cooked and raw which we had to send back. Manager was gracious with replacing only one of the 2 raw kebabs with another cooked one, but the meat was stringy and underseasoned. I wouldve preferred if he offered to refund the dish and offer something else from their menu. The falafel was dry and tasteless like cardboard, nothing like any falafel ive had elsewhere, the whole portion went in the garbage. The best part of our meal was the hummus and black bean side dishes. We left feeling very let down and worsened on the way home by upset stomachs...which probably resulted from the undercooked beef kebab. ...

This place was no less than AMAZIIIING!!! The interior of this place is very welcoming and I love the industrial look they gave it. Oh yea, their lunch specials made it all the more worth while!! I REALLY wanted to try their Chicken Shawarma Happy Pockets but unfortunately they ran out of pita BUT I want to shout out the owner, Danny, for coming through with the next best recommendation - Shawarma Bliss Bowl! He was so welcoming, friendly, helpful and overall just a great human!

Today's Valentine's Day 2023, my hubby and I were coming back from spending a beautiful day at Bill Baggs State Park in Key Biscayne and we were trying to get a light casual Vegan lunch, we couldn't find anything on that area. We headed to Brickell to look for a vegan restaurant in that area known to have a ton of shops and a really busy vibe, to be able to walk afterwards. I'm not sure why some people were complaining about the food and the service. This place is really good and prices are fair. We ordered and shared the"Back to Basics" delicious smoothie and the super tasty Cal-Mex wrap, Love the fact that they are eco-friendly in every sense of the word. The guy in the front desk was really, really helpful and who seems to be the owner also helped me placing the order. You have to do the ordering yourself on a big screen, np. If you're looking for a casual well prepared, well plated, tasty fresh vegan lunch in a good location where you can walk around restaurants and shops. This is the place. They have books available for those new to Veganism and also indoor and outdoor seating which is a plus. We are definitely going back to try other items in...
