The workers are SCAMMERS. And the restaurant does not answers calls. I didn't want to write a public review because I never do unless it's great service but I have no choice since no one answers and there's no option to leave a voicemail. I will be taking legal actions as I feel if the waitress did it to us, they probably did it to others which should lead to other legal issues. Me and my boyfriend went last night we ordered a $45 plattter, that serves 2, no drinks. Well $30 was added to the bill after we signed a $57 bill with tip included. First of all, the food took forever to get and when we got it, it was cold which means it was sitting a while before it was served to us but I didn't complain cause I was hungry. The waitress who served the BILL was a young girl with braces and a short black bob cut with bangs who dont speak english. She came to the table with a receipt that belonged to someone else. We called over a waitress who knew english, she was the one who actually served us our FOOD and was asking did we need anything else. We told her what was happening and she translated to the woman and they both went to the back. The spanish girl comes back with the right bill. It was signed and a $10 tip was added for a total of $57. But when the bank account was checked she charged the card $87 clearly giving herself a $40 tip. This was not a communication issue but clearly workers robbing customers. I feel a whole scheme is being raned because we was approached by an english speaking woman and we ordered with her but when it was time for the bill, a spanish speaking woman brings the "wrong" tap. Then a extra $30 is charged which was around the same price ($89) as the wrong recipient she previously gave us. IF THE RECEIPT WAS SIGNED AT $57 HOW AND WHY WAS THE CARD CHARGED $87. This was on purpose and wasn't a mistake. I will have this investigated. Will not recommend unless you rich and don't mind people stealing your hard...
Read moreHow can a restaurant that gives 1 star experience have 3.4 star rating? I had the most absurd (no kidding) experience at this restaurant this month. My wife and I went on a weekday. The seats at all the cafes were empty (50-60%) and we were actually about to enter the Hard Rock Cafe, but when we saw that they didn’t have pasta, we decided to look around and chose this restaurant (probably 2-3 tables were occupied, remember this).
We ordered 1 plate pasta to the server, and his expression was priceless! I wish I could capture it. He was seemingly so shocked and kept on saying “2 people, 1 pasta?” We said repeatedly that this is for the start and we’ll order something after this, but he was so upset as if I had asked him to sponsor our food. Then he quite visibly shook his head and went inside to give the order. We were so shocked and thankfully realized that if the beginning of our experience is so horrible, how would the entire experience be?! That was when we decided to cancel the order and we gladly walked away!
@the owners - How about you place a big sign outside and mention the minimum order that you expect? If I am extremely hungry, I might have food worth $100. If I am not, I might just get 1-2 dishes for $30-40. This is how the world works right? Or should I first be concerned about the earning of your servers and then think about my hunger/capacity/mood etc.?
You are located at such a prime place (in front of Hard Rock Cafe and with such a great view) and this is how you are running the restaurant? You should be extra warm and provide lot better service, but you are clearly making sure that customers NEVER come back again. I guess the reviews here are...
Read moreDO NOT EAT HERE, SERVICE IS HORRIBLE. I didnt even eat the food so I can’t even rate it. Listen to to other reviews about terrible service. I was waiting at the menu for someone to seat me. Someone went up to the party in front of me and sat them, and walked away. I watched multiple workers look right at me and not approach me. I finally asked a server if I should seat myself, and he said “sit anywhere.” I sat myself and waited 20 minutes. Watched 5 other tables be sat and given menus. I finally asked someone for a manager who said “he’s busy.” I explained that I was waiting 20 minutes and he got the same server who originally told me to sit anywhere. The server asked me to sit somewhere else, and I asked for a manager. He told me the manager was busy. I said I would wait, and he told me if I sit down, I can speak to the manager. To make a long story short, I was repeatedly told he was busy, he will not care, that it’s not that servers fault that I sat in a section that was not his and didnt get greeted by his coworker. He stated he was trying to make it better by taking me in his section and I said I wanted a manager. He told me, for the third time, he didnt know what I wanted him to say, and the manager will say the same thing. I left.
Very poor customer service, and if it’s true that the manager would not care and was “too busy” for guests in his establishment, then the whole staff needs more training. Because I used to work in a restaurant and if I left a table sitting there for 20 mins (yes I timed it), that would be my last shift at that restaurant. Especially when I watched SEVERAL servers look at me and still not greet me or even give me a...
