This is a very cool bar in downtown Miami. I love the vintage saloon décor of the place. It has a speakeasy feel to it and there's plenty of antique furniture, picture frames and trinkets to check out. It's also spacious inside featuring a long bar and plenty of seating arrangements including tables, sofas, and oversized leather chairs. There's a pool table near the entrance, a piano in the middle of the room and darts towards the back where we hung out and played.
Everyone ordered different drinks but I got a couple of Old Fashioned cocktails and they were good. Not too sweet and good pour. The bartender also suggested to try his Boulevardier (off the menu) so of course, we got a couple of rounds because they were well crafted too. They offer plenty of specialty cocktails from gin, vodka to whiskey and also craft beers. Cocktails are $12 and beer $9. They have wine too but I strongly recommend one of their specialty cocktails plus the bartenders don't mind offering suggestions to match your preferred taste.
We had a blast hanging out here and so much fun playing darts. I've been wanting to come back ever since but it's better to come with a group :)
FYI, we were here on a Tuesday so it wasn't that busy but I heard the weekends are packed...
Read moreCame here tonight on a Thursday. Not too busy. Grabbed a table with a group of 10. Waited for 5 min and half the group decided to go to the bar to order. Rest waited and chatted at the table. 10+ mins go by and finally an employee arrives to tell us we shouldn’t be going to the bar, it’s table service. Okay. It took 10+ mins but no problem. We order a sprite, glass of wine, and a beer and it proceeds to take another 10 mins. Waitress brings the drinks and I ask for the check. She then asks for a card. I politely ask to see the receipts before I pay, per any establishment.
Long story short, place seemed against serving a group of 10 when the bar was empty. 15+ min for table service with a kind reprimand and interesting check policy is not welcoming. If we were to order at the bar and/or were actually provided table service, we planned on staying and ordering for several hours instead of leaving elsewhere and never coming back due to a poor first impression from...
Read moreIt’s a very cute place, I would recommend giving it a try — but you may have to server yourself.
We unfortunately had the worst luck service-wise, we got none. After we sat down at a table and waited about 15 minutes (we understand places can be busy, but they weren’t) I went up and waited at the bar. I don’t even mind places where you order at the bar, but everyone else was getting table service. Thankfully a nice gentleman took our order for us and brought us drinks, but that is the last time anyone checked on us until the end. We were hoping to have a few drinks and snacks but were only able to get a pint in before we had to leave.
What was strange is all the other tables were being waited on by the two servers, but they would just ignore us. 🥺 I don’t think we didn’t anything wrong. Made my partner quite upset as this was our only night out in downtown Miami. Our check had Monica L as the name printed on it, would have been nice to...
