This mom and pop Peruvian restaurant was highly recommended by my good friends. It's not fancy nor big. It's also not the easiest place to find in downtown because it's along a busy strip plaza. I can't call this a hole in the wall because it's clean and organized. But one thing I can honestly say, it just simply blew my expectations.

Since this was my first time here, I just let my friends order whatever they normally get here because I trust their judgment. They ordered the Ceviche De Pescado, Lomo Saltado, and Anticuchos De Corazon. First thing I noticed was the portion. They were not stingy at all. Each entrée was enough to share between the four us. Secondly, the quality and taste were superb. Ceviche was fresh and had a nice spicy kick. The Lomo Saltado marinade was on point and not too salty. Plus the steak wasn't drowning with sauce. The grilled beef hearts were also delicious. Meat was tender with nice char from the grill and it came with a side of tasty steak potatoes. The best part of this feast was the price. Each entrée that we got was less than $15. Sweet! I also would like to praise the service. The servers were super nice and will gladly accommodate any special requests.

So lucky to be able to join my friends for dinner here. It was a good 1st experience and not sure why it took me so long to review this place. Maybe I didn't want this hidden gem to be overexposed...lol :) But then again, this place deserves the attention because your wallet will be happy for the quality and portion you get. Will...

My mom and I had an absolutely wonderful dining experience at this restaurant. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, perfect for a special meal together. The food was exceptional—every dish was beautifully presented, bursting with flavor, and clearly made with care. But what truly made our visit unforgettable was our waitress, Kecelis. She was an absolute gem! Kecelis was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and cared for. Her recommendations were spot-on, and her genuine enthusiasm for the menu added such a delightful touch to our meal. The service was prompt yet never rushed, allowing us to savor every moment. We can’t wait to return and hope to have Kecelis as our server again. Highly recommend this gem of a restaurant! more...

Found this restaurant via Google map review and tried it out due to curiosity. I was skeptical as the neighbourhood is a bit sketchy at dark.

But oh boy what a surprise. Food was beyond my expectation. Since it’s Peruvian restaurant, gotta try the ceviche. Ordered the fish ceviche and it tasted so fresh. Properly seasoned and well balanced. Probably one of the best ceviches I’ve had. This is made very classic tradiotional ceviche with fried corn for texture, some boiled Peruvian corn and a sweet potato to balance the spice. Too bad I was already too fool that I can’t order the chef specialties. The servings are huge. Maybe it can be good for 2.

Place is clean. Servers are nice. Paid street parking. Definitely try them if you’re in the area.

I’ll be back next time. This is a hidden...

Hello foodies 👋 This restaurant is great, we we’re celebrating our anniversary with family and friends, our waitress was very polite & professional , she gave us recommendations as to what to order and explained some of the plates and how they come. Try the pisco sour, delicious alcoholic Peruvian drink 🤤 For the amount of people we invited, we were afraid that it would be super expensive but compared to what we thought it was, it ended up being comfortable, economical. The dishes served were big enough that we all were sharing, and trying each other’s dishes. It was a great time, the owner came out to check on us too, she was super sweet and attentive, made sure we were we’ll served. At the end the food was very good in terms of quality and quantity.

I don’t see the big to do about this place .. my coworkers constantly order from so I decided to join them in the little spot. First off it’s a cute little spot and service is not to bad they are pretty courteous.. now the food.. I ordered the lunch special some dish called the Norteno.. it came with soup but it was barely warm n it could of been good had it been soup temperature. My dish had rice n beans with stewed beef but though it was tasty in one sense but meat was not tender at all... beans were pretty dry as well.. My coworker ordered ceviche and she is from Peru and she didn’t like it either. I think it lacks real flavor in the dishes and food is reheated not fresh
