Miami Winter Travel and New Year's Celebration

During our recent vacation in Miami, we embarked on a pizza adventure, exploring various locations that prepare pizzas and leave them on display, reheating them upon purchase. While some of these places were decent, none left a lasting impression, and the freshness of the pizzas was often in question. One evening, while exploring the Bayfront and downtown areas near our hotel, the Intercontinental, several bartenders recommended Mister 01 in Brickell for exceptional pizzas. Taking their advice, we summoned an Uber and made our way to Mister 01, and we couldn't have been happier with our decision. From the moment we entered, the service was warm, inviting, and much appreciated. Our server, Maykel, was fantastic, offering in-depth knowledge about their pizza offerings. The star of the show at Mister 01 is undoubtedly their 96-hour dough, which sets the foundation for an outstanding pizza experience. We ordered two pizzas, and both were the best we had in Miami. The crust struck the perfect balance – not too thin, not too thick, and perfectly charred. The cheese-to-topping ratio was spot-on, resulting in fresh and delectable pies. But what truly elevated the experience were the imported oils, especially the spicy and truffle varieties, which were out of this world. If there's one thing you should bring back home from your trip to Miami, it's the combo oil set they offer at an excellent price. Even though we don't have a Mister 01 in our area, a drizzle of their Italian oils on our local pizzas immediately transports us back to our fantastic experience at Mister01. While our trip to Miami included many culinary highlights, Mister 01 undoubtedly stood out as one of the best. We wholeheartedly recommend it to fellow travelers and eagerly anticipate our next visit.

This place makes extraordinary pizza indeed! The staff also provides excellent service. Our family visited Miami last month and needed to find a restaurant that was kid-friendly and had food my picky eaters would actually enjoy. It’s always pizza. We got to Mister O1 fairly early and we were greeted warmly by the lovely hostess. There were only a few diners at 5:30 pm so we were seated very quickly and the kids were immediately given coloring books and crayons by our friendly waitress, Katerina. The kids each had their own 13” pies. My husband ordered the Daniele which he ate with their signature spicy oil, recommended by the manager, Felipe. I ordered the Star Carlos. Everyone proclaimed they had the best pizza but truly, mine won. It was a visual work of art and incredibly delicious! All of the flavors needed to be together and created a symphony in my mouth. The crust was a perfect balance of crispy and chewy. It didn’t flop at the weight of everything on top. AMAZING! The restaurant started to get busy as we were eating but Felipe made time to talk with us, making us feel so welcomed and Katerina never skipped a beat in taking care of our needs. The restaurant is very pretty inside but there is also some nice outdoor seating. If you have room for dessert you must try the Nutella pizza! It was a first for us and even though my kids said they were too full to eat anything else they inhaled the Nutella pie like it was air saying it was the best thing they ever had. In NJ we have some incredible pizza but you can’t compare what MisterO1 has to offer. The pizza experience is very different but certainly extraordinary and worth trying. We would love to come back here for the pizza!

We went back to Mister O1 Brickell to eat again our beloved pizzas and forget about the deliveries chaos The dinner was interrupted by unpleasant incident at 9:45pm and kept coming until we left the restaurant! It is not serious neither professional that a place where people wait to get a table is in bad condition of AC and insects and that should not happen if we do the right measure I don't want say anything else but the waiters did their best to accommodate the customers and calm down the panicked and scared women I feel bad to see a place that is working good and not updated the cleaning process accordingly Please guys Fix the place and ask the employees what happened and get your exterminator fired This time we will stop the deliveries orders and the dine in until further notice Delivery:::: I hate to give bad reviews and especially when I used to like the place and the food and we ate there many times and also got many deliveries Today we ordered the usual pizzas for the family and apparently The pizza guy he almost entirely burned the pizza and strangely and any without hesitation he simply packed it in the box and send it to me with Uber !!! Completely shocked I called the manager and let him know my disappointment and he offered me to get a refund and replacement and I refused it and here we stop this ridiculous pizza joke and will never order it again!

Pros: It's close to spring break and most of the tourist are in town early, restaurants in Miami tend to be very busy during this time of the year. As I was pondering what to have for lunch I stumbled across Mr. O1 and what can I say, their prices, location and their selection of food caught my attention. So I walk right in and am greeted warmly by their host, seated with a smile and all. She immediately brought me a jar filled with water and a cup with typical oldies music playing in the back ground. I didn't feel rushed to place my order, nor forced to buy any drinks. Looking through the menu the Star Pizzas caught my attention- two star shaped vegetarian and meatlovers pizza. Never had anything like it so, Why not? Turns out to be really good! What surprised me was their spicy olive oil. I was shocked that even existed and it tasted delicious on the pizza. Mr. O1s menu also included Vegan Cheese for your Pizza and an all Vegan Pizza if someone may be interested. For my Cons review I really don't have much constructive criticism to really say about this place. Probably Parking might be a problem to some so look out for this detail, don't expect the star shaped pizza to be bigger than what it is. I think the size is just right but wish it was a little bit bigger. Ugh, everything else was perfect. 5 stars!
