After 3 years of being a regular customer, this place has now officially lost my business. I loved it pre-pandemic, more so prior to the change in corporate ownership. Ever since it reopened after the initial massive Covid closure, it has not been the same, as has slowly, progressively worsened. Service is largely inefficient, and food is inconsistent. One Saturday night, I arrived to pick up my simple, single-item prepaid takeout order 20 minutes after ordering, and still had to wait another 10 minutes because they were backlogged on an influx of orders and running behind. More times than I can count, I have arrived and stood at the pickup area of the front counter, to again pick up my prepaid takeout order, only to be ignored for several minutes before an employee finally acknowledges my presence. Sadly, most of the employees hired here have obviously never learned the concept of multitasking or being aware of the business' surroundings, of glancing around the restaurant rather than staring blankly at the floor or being too occupied chatting with fellow employees to notice that a customer is waiting to be served. Regardless, my last chicken salad bowl order was hugely lacking content; the portion was ridiculously small, and it was missing key ingredients I had chosen. Furthermore, when I arrived home and untied the knot that had been made by the handles of my plastic takeout bag, I also discovered that I was not given a single napkin, nor a plastic fork with which to eat my salad, nor an obligatory fortune cookie. This time was the worst $10 I have ever spent on a takeout salad.
