Unfortunately, you have to give it at least "1-star" so that you can even leave a post . Otherwise, I wouldn't even give them that because it does not merit the fact of having that "1-star" . Here is why: Unless you enjoy paying more for an overpriced fast food chain hamburger ... stay away from this place. They do not offer pickles. Who ever heard of having hamburgers without pickles? That is absurd as having hot dogs without ketchup. They make the hamburgers a sloppy mess with the overkill of the sauces. More importantly they do not understand "well-done". So, you wait 30 to 45 minutes to get an undercooked super raw disgusting tasting and looking hamburger....all at a minimum price of $10? Not to overlook their stale tasting cold fries. Again, stay away from this place. It is not worth your time or money... Unless you are foolish enough and have both to waste. Unrelated to the food, there is a pub next door that has music loud enough to thump (because of the strong bass) the walls that you are sitting next to. You can't even carry on a conversation with the person sitting across from you without feeling like you're yelling at them. Originally, I thought that this might be something that would close the business down. However, after my experience of the terrible food that was given, it might not be a bad idea after all for this place to close its doors. Needless to say, and as I let the guy know who refunded my money... Without any issue... It was my first time AND my last time. And as I told him I am going to make sure that do not refer...
Read moreI come almost everyday for breakfast, because their "Express Breakfast" special is unbeatable in Brickell: only $3.99 for a selection of their items like tequeños, empanadas or arepas PLUS the coffee!!!! That's really a bang for your buck, and trust me, in Brickell, all these places freaking over charge for everything! But not at Pepito's, their prices are very decent. Denise is my favorite girl in the morning shift! She's super nice, friendly, spoils me, accommodates any requests I may have and gives me really good coffee with a big smile :)
Their food is consistently good. They also have an unbeatable happy hour on beers from 2-7 pm during weekdays, beer at $3!!!!!! (I did it onw Thursday and literally didn't go back to the office, Lol). Their tequeños are definitely some of the best I've tried in the city, really filled with cheese and soft dough, and their parrillas have a lot of meat!!!! Oh, and don't get me started on their selection of sauces, and the cool thing is that they have them all out there for you to pick and choose. They also do crepes and nice sweet treats like "raspado", but I haven't...
Read moreHorrible atrocious customer service and overpriced. I ordered the “tequenos” to go and even tipped them when the place was nearly empty on a Thursday night. After 20 minutes of waiting for said “tequenos” I had to search for someone to attend me and get an update on my order. I almost felt like I the customer had to beg the business for service. Have these people ever heard of customer service ? All I got was an oops we forgot your order and a nonchalant callous “sorry” remark. The “tequenos” were tiny diminutive not worth what I paid. Will never give this place my business again. Also most tables where I sat at to wait were dirty and disgusting. The bathroom was repulsive smelly and had to wait for that too they didn’t even think to have at least 2 bathrooms. Just a matter of time before this place goes bankrupt...
