I saw a lot of negative reviews but still wanted to try it for myself and honestly, hands down, the food was great! I got La Mostra, which comes with fried chicken, fried rice, and fries. El chaufa (fried rice) immediately transported me. It tasted just like the food truck spots back in Peru. The chicken was fresh, crispy, and clearly made to order.
I also had the chicha morada, and you could tell it was homemade. You could really taste the cinnamon, clove, and pineapple. So good.
A lot of people complain about the wait time, but personally, I think itâs worth it. Plus, you can call ahead and theyâll start cooking your food while youâre on your way. Super helpful. My advice: try to avoid super busy times like weekends. I went on a Saturday and waited around 20 minutes, which wasnât bad at all.
