Peruanos Foodtruck — Restaurant in Miami

I saw a lot of negative reviews but still wanted to try it for myself and honestly, hands down, the food was great! I got La Mostra, which comes with fried chicken, fried rice, and fries. El chaufa (fried rice) immediately transported me. It tasted just like the food truck spots back in Peru. The chicken was fresh, crispy, and clearly made to order.

I also had the chicha morada, and you could tell it was homemade. You could really taste the cinnamon, clove, and pineapple. So good.

A lot of people complain about the wait time, but personally, I think it’s worth it. Plus, you can call ahead and they’ll start cooking your food while you’re on your way. Super helpful. My advice: try to avoid super busy times like weekends. I went on a Saturday and waited around 20 minutes, which wasn’t bad at all.

I live in Kendall, but I’d happily drive down every two weeks just to get another Mostrá! Definitely worth...

Yesterday I went with low expectations because of the comments, but luckily they surprise me for good the food was great, i ordered a salchipapa and a tallarin saltado, the hotdog on the salchipapa was exactly like the Peruvian one, the fries were really good too, the tallarin saltado had a great flavor i would just recommend a little bit less of cebolla china on top but that is just a personal preference, the waitress was really nice and welcoming, the environment was a little bit dark that's why I give it 4...

Went to try lomo saltado after hours (2 AM). I just ordered lomo, which is only $18… the cashier took my card and made the payment and didn’t turn back the screen to let me tip. It turns out he tipped himself and I ended up paying $35. Besides that, the meat wasn’t good and lacking on flavor. I wasn’t expecting much from a food truck though. I feel like the other's reviews are fake. Don’t waste...
