Shake Shack Mary Brickell Village — Restaurant in Miami

Okay, so here is my review of this place.

Ambiance 3/10 So this place. Had not a lot of ambience.I would say it's more of a teen place, where you can just hang out but not a typical place to eat there.

Decoration 2/10 OK I know that fast food restaurants are not typically Well, decorated but I have seen other fast food that was way much better than this one. This one, I think there's a lack of motivation and creativity. There is, however, a lot of potential.

Service 3/10 .Okay, the service wasn't very good. I understand that it's mostly young people and I have no problem. But you have to know your menu or at least be polite. You're working with people. That is the most important thing. Now, if you don't want to work with people. It's okay, too, just fine, another job that is not working with people.

Food 3/10 Now here I was disappointed because I was expecting so much about this place. It was my first time the menu looked incredibly good. But when I saw the portion. As you can see, the pictures for the price that you pay. I'm sorry it's not good. II seen fast food restaurants with the same price and give us like triple of the amount of food. No, at least if the quality was okay.I would have said no problem, but as you can see the pictures, they're way too small.

Cleanest 5/10 Now, in this section, I'm getting them given half of the credit.Cause I was expecting the worst, but I was surprised that it was not so bad. It could have been better, or it could have been way worse. It was clean enough for people and kids...

My first time ever at a Shake Shack.

First, the food was excellent. Ordering through the tablets seemed simple enough (so I thought). I placed our order to dine in, and indicated the table number (assuming the food would be brought to our table or at least we would receive some sort of notification that the food was ready). The restaurant seemed clean - was staffed by all younger people with a supervisor present who was providing constant feedback in the food prep area.

It seemed a bit odd that our order had not arrived 20 min after ordering. With this being the first time here, I didn't know what was or was not considered to be expected. By the 30 min mark I went up to the desk to check on things, only to see my order packed up as a to go order that had been sitting there for just under 20 minutes. When they handed it to me, the receipt clearly showed this was a dine in order with the table number showing. The staff did acknowledge this was a mistake, and did offer to prepare an entirely new order, but being very hungry after a travel day we just wanted to eat.

When the manager/order walked by each of the tables to check in on all the diners, we made him aware of this mistake as an FYI. He very clearly acknowledged the issue, immediately apologized and offered us a complimentary shake which we accepted. I appreciate this very much.

All in all, it was clearly a human error and the clear acknowledgement of the mistake and the free shake (as compensation) was appreciated. The only reason this review was not 5 stars was because...

My husband and I went there to have lunch and since I've heard so much about shake shack online and YouTube. I wanted to try it out however, I ordered the simple burger with lettuce tomato onions and pickles a simple french fry and my husband ordered the shack Burger and the chili cheese fries. However to my surprise! we spend about $35 to $40 dollar!. When we got the burgers. I was so surprised of the size the meat was!😱 like the same size of a McDonald's hamburger😔 me and my husband agreed on that. I got a lemonade.. the lemonade was very strong lemony flavor😬it was horrible!. Thank God I ordered a small. I would have thought🤨 for the price that we paid for the burgers. It would have been of a bigger size portion of meat than a single size that look like a McDonald's burgers. I was very unhappy and the seating area inside looked like they only had 12 booth! sitting Tables. We had to wait till somebody finish eating to get to sit inside cuz it was too hot to eat outside and the seats were very uncomfortable. I was not happy at all with the shake...
