Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Michigan City

I just waited over 1.5 hours for my $50+ dollar order of 2 sandwiches and decided to call in because it says delivered. The guy called the driver and the driver confirmed he left the order outside at someone else's home on my block. I informed him we have cameras and we did see the Jimmy John's driver go down the street earlier. He offered to send a new order which I'm ok with because we're hungry. Little did I know when I walked outside again to meet the driver that he went to another home on my street to grab the bag that has been sitting outside in the rain to walk over and bring it to me. DISGUSTING!! I asked, are you serious you seriously just tried to hand me food that was sitting outside somewhere in the rain and want me to eat that. Not only is that inappropriate but completely unsanitary and I can't believe they would do something like that. Now I definitely don't ever want anything from this location that they would do something like this. I called the manager to Inform what this driver just did and he was so unbelievably rude and told me no one would did anything to the food sitting outside of someone else's property. Who even says that? I requested a refund and will definitely be calling corporate tomorrow because image how many other people are experience something so disgusting. What's not to love about Jimmy John's just make sure you don't encounter them when they send their guys out on the street in their fast cars you might just about run into them as they're trying to get the food to whoever LOL but if you are in the store itself the staff is always extremely friendly they do the order the way you like it hold the Mayo Etc more shredded lettuce LOL the sayings on the Walls by the owners are worth stopping in just to read those and if you have kids they have big friendly booths and they're playing music and saying hello how are you whenever you come in the store plus the sandwiches are really great just make sure you eat them fresh because if you put them in your refrigerator the next day they look a little gnarly LOL.. one thing I like to do with Jimmy John's when I have some extra money to throw around is I get the box of like 30 little sandwiches and I take them to the local nursing home but save one for yourself at least because they're really good consider that okay especially at...

As much as I like these sandwiches I am absolutely done with Jimmy John's. I absolutely HATE onions. I always customize my order with NO ONION! I will not eat a sandwich that has even touched raw onion. This is not the 1st time my custom order came as the regular sandwich. This time I ordered a #7 with NO ONION extra peppers and avocado spread. When it was delivered it was the original sandwich as it is on the menu. I called and spoke with the manager and was pretty much told it was my bad and I must have done something wrong on my end on the app. So much for trying to be nice and ordering online.
