We frequent this location and have since it opened. I love their buffalo chicken fingers, fries and the kids meals are great but this location has gone downhill fast over the last couple months. I don't know if it is under new management or there's new staff, but the quality and professionalism of the staff has become quite disappointing. Tonight is the worst service we've had and I don't think we will be returning, which is a shame because when the food is good I really like it.
Tonight, my husband ordered (regular) boneless chicken wings and buffalo chicken fingers. When he got all the way home- we discovered he got buffalo boneless wings and plan/regular fingers. Knowing Zaxby's is generally known for superior customer service, I sent my husband back to have the food corrected. To his face, they said sorry and that they would correct their mistake but it must have really bothered them to send him home w/ the crap they did. I got a rock hard piece of toast that feels like it was leftout for the last 24 hours, about 10 fries and COLD chicken fingers. I don't know if they keep cold chicken in the fridge to use for salads but I don't understand how else the chicken would be at such a cool temperature when they had several customers and should have been serving freshly cooked chicken fingers.
I'm disappointed that when given the chance to make up for awful service, that it was only made worse. I would have been more satisfied if they told my husband "No, sorry, we will not correct and replace your order." That would have been more honest and acceptable than giving my husband another bag of horrendous food pretending it...
Read moreAwful service and staff!! I went through the drive thru for the first time, when I was given the worse attitude. Beforehand, I had no idea what sauces, or options you could have for wings and fingers, and like most people, we need to ask questions because there is just a lot of information on the menu to process. Well, the girl at the window acted like I was putting her out asking questions about the different sauces that came with the finger meal. She said that the meal only came with the Zax sauce. I then said, “well the sign says you can have your fingers tossed,” and she said, “Oh, so you want your finger’s tossed” and I said, “Well is that an option with the finger meal?” With a snarky attitude, she remarked, “well, if it’s on the menu, than yeah.” I said “are you freaking kidding me?” she didn’t answer, I asked again, and no reply so I drove around and went inside. She immediately hesitated to come to the counter, and when she did I called her out on her unprofessional behavior and attitude. I said I wanted to speak to her manager, when some lady, with no manager identification, came over and said she was the manager and if she could take my order. When I explained what happened, and how that was unacceptable, she didn’t say a thing. She just stood there. It was obvious at that point that no one at this restaurant had any idea how to handle customer service. I walked out, and was glad to see a Popeye’s right across the street. Read moreThis location has been taking care of me for over 6 years. The previous manager was a beast. The signature dish he got me hooked on was the Buff Plate on their hidden menu. Buff - or Buffalo Style - means whatever chicken type you want, you can have it smothered in a sauce, rather than dunk it.
I have abandoned all hope with these several new crews. Over the last 5-6 visits of new employees and new trainings, there is a communication disconnect. Buff Style, or Buffalo Style does not mean Buffalo sauce. I know you are all aware of this because you offer this as an option.
No matter how many times I clarify, or say, smothered, or covered or tossed in...hot honey mustard. No matter how I have phrased this. The first order always comes out with the tangy gross Buffalo sauce, and I choose to have it remade because it is not what I ordered.
Is there a better way to order Buffalo Style? How can your crew improve on its training to make sure we, your valued customers, are truly getting what we order? It has been incredibly saddening and disappointing.
I only want to offer constructive criticism, not complaints. Please see this as an opportunity to improve, or communicate with me, because I imagine you do not want to remake my order every time if I am to continue ordering it the same way, with disconnect from your employees.
Like I said, I love zaxby's, they've taken care of me so well. I hope this message and rating gets your attention. I'll change it when I hear back from you.
