Originally from Milford and parent still live there. I haven’t had a chance to visit Crumbl before because there is not one where I live. The plaza that Crumbl is located in is stunning. Inside the store is open and quiet and cold. Not inviting like you would want to see when purchasing cookies. There’s modern kiosks to order from. Not one single worker said hello me or directed me. I stood there for 5 minutes before I saw the kiosks in the corner. I ordered a box of 4 large cookies for my mom who is recovering from breast cancer surgery & a 4 large cookie box for myself. Total was $34. For my box I got: 1 chocolate chip, 1 honey bun, 1 chocolate pumpkin, and 1 strawberry shortcake. For my mom I got her 1 chocolate chip, 1 buttermilk pancake, 1 chocolate pumpkin, and 1 honey bun. We both agreed that the chocolate chip cookie was not up to par. It was extremely dry, has a dull taste to the chips almost like cheap chocolate, and we both gave it a 3/10. The honey bun was the worst of them. It was very dry, tasted nothing like a honey bun, even the icing had no flavor. The chocolate pumpkin was good. It did resemble the brownie taste and the frosting had a distinct pumpkin pie flavoring. It was softer and good. This one got a 8.5/10. The strawberry shortcake was good but not because of the cookie in a whole. Only when brown down to categories. It is smothered with cream cheese frosting and who could not like cream cheese frosting. The cookie was soft and resembles a snickerdoodle like taste. Then there is a thin smear of strawberry jam on top with not much to add to the whole shortcake appeal. Overall, for $34 I was not impressed and I wouldn’t go there again just from the lack of customer service and cold aesthetic. Put waiting seats or music on or some fun colors or just something that says - hey! Cookies are yummy and fun and welcome to our store. Let the workers acknowledge you standing there at least. Overall the whole trip there as a first time customer I give...
Read morel used to get cookies here every week but stopped since their customer service policy has changed. Previously, if a cookie looked like it didn't have enough frosting or topping, they would add more at the customer's request. Now, when a cookie looks under frosted or misshapen etc., they refuse to do anything about it and tell you to just accept it. When I asked the staff about this change of policy, they said it was due to the owner. I brought this up to corporate and they issued me a free 4 pack to apologize and said that is not the policy of all stores. The owner of this particular store should change "his or her" policy or risk losing customers. Customer satisfaction is definitely not important here. Hope they change their policy as a free 4 pack is more expensive to their bottom line than a few dollops of icing...
Read moreIf you're in Milford, CT, Crumbl Cookies is a must-visit! The store has an inviting atmosphere and the staff is always super friendly and helpful. I love how they offer a rotating menu of cookie flavors, so there's always something new to try. The cookies are always fresh, warm, and perfectly baked – soft, chewy centers with that satisfying crisp edge. My personal favorite is the classic milk chocolate chip, but I’ve also tried some of their specialty flavors, like the Churro, which was amazing. They even offer a cookie delivery service, which makes satisfying your sweet tooth even easier. Highly recommend Crumbl for anyone looking for a delicious treat...
